I could almost have predicted it, RS. Growing up in the '70s in Central Ohio, I got hooked riding the Tour of the Scioto River Valley,
TOSRV. It was, and still is, a two day, 210 mile round trip bicycle ride from Columbus to Portsmouth, with food stops along the way and luggage service to carry your sleeping bag and overnight stuff. It was notorious for the weather. It almost always rained, but tornadoes were not uncommon, and I think it snowed a time or two, but not while I was riding it. I see it's been rescheduled for September this year, another Covid casualty,
so watch out for bad weather that weekend, too!
