YT235 Experiences and Opinions

I believe that Yanmar tractors were being used in Japan
and then production started here in the states. Did you
know that Yanmar made tractors for John Deere for over
20 years and over 75 tractors have Yanmar diesels and
you will find all kinds of equipment with Yanmar diesel
engines. Yanmar makes the whole tractor not like some
tractor companies that have other companies make there parts. Like I said before you will find all different
makes of tractors that have problems but some are more prone to have more than others. You will find that all tractors are good until they start having problems. LS tractors really look nice but I chose the
YT235C for the comfort and ease of handling.

I suspect prices have gone up since this was posted. I have an order for a Kioti CK3510SE, quote is $24K, loader QA, 66" bucket, and of course the CK3510SE. It comes with 2 remotes on back as standard. I just visited the Yanmar site for the YT 235 and for the same set up it is $29,775. Not sure if the Yanmar comes with a QA as standard is about the only thing. About a $6000 difference. I am sure there are rebates etc. I have yet to have figured in. Getting a quote I hope from a semi local dealer. I am impressed with Yanmar. The gold rims would take some time to get used too!

Tractor House shows 2021 Yanmar YT235 $23,500 with QA and 310 loader, don't know about if rear remotes are standard and of course prices are different in various parts of the country I would imagine. Kioti is a really nice tractor as I was looking at them sometime back,Good luck on your tractor.

Well, Yanmar engines are used in a lot of commercial equipment.... too many to even sort..... generators, industrial pumps, etc....

You had mentioned tractors.... not just the engine.

Absolutely correct... Yanmar makes GREAT engines for a long time!

Does your LS 225 have the lever on the back so
you can raise and lower the 3pt? Makes it easier
to attach equipment?
The Yanmar YT235C don't have this option but
I have a pry bar and a block of wood.

No, the 225 does not have the rear lever. No cab, so I just reach over the fender.....
