Brought it back from the tractor doctor.

Not an entirely uneventful trip.

Mowed about 10 acres with my 917 flail, limbed up a bunch of pine trees do I could easily mow under them-used grapple to move limb piles so that I can chip them up later. Also hooked up the tiller for the first time and tilled a serenity garden area for my wife.

This was actually over the last couple of days!

I tell ya, this whole making videos for YT is starting to suck... Might be time to simply hang it all up. Really disappointing.

Don’t quit. If it was easy everyone would do it and you’d get the silver play button the day you start. Have you ever gone back and looked at most of the popular channel’s “early work?” Cringeworthy! Lol

Just published, an update announcement video and Hooks and Balls Quick Hitch.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Honestly, it was these words that motivated me to get out and get it done. Thank you.

I think you will enjoy the hooks.
One of my reasons is that a standard quick hitch took up to much room when I was having to reach in and connect a pto shaft.
I did break down just the other day and order one of the hydraulic hook type top links to use instead of my regular hydraulic top link.

Good job on the video.

I'd just love to have telescoping lower arms! I think If I had those I wouldn't bother changing anything. Like you said, you have to connect hoses and/or PTO shafts so you're down there anyway. Now if you just had multiple implements that were just 3pt connections only, I could see the benefit of these.

I've seen a few posts where the telescoping arms from other models that will work are about $600 a set, maybe someday.

I have the speeco E hitch quick hitch. I love this hitch because it does not need bushings. It takes longer to attach the PTO shaft that to latch onto my bushhogs!

Moved some blocks to top our new fire pit and moved in some nice sections of tree trunks to sit on. Plus got to burn up some nasty rotten wood.

I haven't raked hay in 35 years but it was in MO. with a IH 464 and a New Holland 256 or 258 rake IIRC.

We just use 2 IH 464's and 2 IH 1300 sickle bar mowers. Let it dry 1-3 days then rake it, let it dry 1/2-1 days and then bale it.

Is the hay tedder just to help air out and dry the hay?
Was the hay cut with a mower conditioner or just a sickle bar/ or disc mower?
