Two stroke don’t have valves was the reason he had a question on it.
In the 2nd summer of using our Stihl KM 131R it wasn't starting all that well any more so I brought it back our dealership. A tune up kit and valve adjustment brought it back to two pull starting. This is what our dealer said he did to it.![]()
Not like Hondu's at all.Right I saw the 26 year old Farm Boss quote and knew it was a 2 stroke, as for spin trims several are 4 strokes like Husky/Honda
Wonder if the Stihl 4 mix are like the Honda units-
Worked on and tuned up a Husky model had 2 problems
hard start and wouldn't stay running very well- then if it died would not restart due to virtually no compression
Valves needed adjustment (way to tight) and the fuel line they used was constricted from the rubber seal the line passes thru expanding or the line collapsing.
