How much money do you spend on sports?

There are some people whose life seems to be dictated by how their sports teams play, which really makes no sense to me.

Exactly how does professional sports actively play a "happiness role" in your life?

I spend little money - I don’t get to go to many games plus I already have enough logo clothes and hats.

I watch on TV or listen on the radio (all Mizzou games). Now, keep in mind I root for Mizzou football - so, winning does not equal happiness or I’d rarely be happy. We have beat Arkansas the last few years however!

But when Mizzou won back-to-back SEC East titles and played in the SEC Championship games we had a watch party! We lost both games but the parties were fun.

The Cardinals are very successful and the whole area is more upbeat when the Cardinals are winning. Some of my most fun events was World Series clinchers in Busch Stadium back in the day.

That plus any Toby Keith concert.

There is currently great entertainment reading all the agnst about the SEC expansion. Other Conferences are going crazy!

For one, I don't have enought purple paint to do the driveway after all. Thinking about just smearing it around the doorway like lamb's blood to deter the plage of ungrateful dependents.

I'm probably the only SEC fan in north east Wyoming. I follow the Wyoming Cowboys here but it's not the caliber of football the SEC displays.

You hit the nail on the head, entertainment...

Entertainers shouldn't dictate your feelings IMO past the moment the entertainment has expired.

But, it all comes down to money.

Just look at the NCAA. They were finally exposed for what they are.

Puple paint means no tresspassing. Purple paint is easier to "post" and will most likely last longer than no tresspassing signs.

People will STILL knowingly tresspass even if they know what the purple paint is for.

Didn't end,only branched out to questioning why paint or signs are neccessary to begin with. Some feel purple paint is good,some believe it's part of a greater plan(I certainly do). They claim paint is so simple anyone can do it,paint serve's those that can't read,paint is inexpensive and so on. I say it's another small step in the direction of "all for one and one for all"which in layman's term is a type society most don't want.

I feel purple paint is a good thing. Will it keep people from trespassing on your land? Probably not for the ones that intend to trespass no matter what. BUT it is a notice "you have been notified", that way when you call the law OR they hurt themselves and try to sue the landowner they have less of a case. Ignorance of the law has proven to be "no excuse". You were notified. Everyone knows that they should not trespass, yet they do it anyway, "because we aren't hurting anything". Yeah that is not what they say when they hurt themselves on your land is it? "well you have an attractive nuisance by having creek access on your land" That is what they say. Purple paint is just another tool in the landowners arsenal to defend what he has toiled for.
