What teams will play in the next Superbowl?

I am halfway there with ya..... I still like the game but I do not like the showmanship, the holdouts, the massive salaries, the knee ....
Exactly my beef.
Shows such disdain for a country that provides so much opportunity.
Recent ratings numbers support people turning their backs in large numbers.
Maybe someday Jolly Roger will see his clientele don’t want to watch America hating athletes.

I have 2 first cousins who lived outside of Pittsburgh all their lives and were hardcore steelers fans.

Funny thing is both retired outside of Tampa in the same developement.

Their neice (my second cousin) is also outside of Tampa. Apparently they were giving out free Jerseys at the game on the 14th?

Out of curiosity, I had to look...A Tom Brady Tampa Bay buc jersey for $120o_O (who buys these?)

My eagles sweatshirt was given to me as a christmas present years ago (had it on for their superbowl game lol) and I litterally picked up a nice new "NFL" eagles hat on the road driving back home (wasn't going to pass that up), but I don't think I could ever justify spending that kind of money for idolizing a team or player.
you can buy a knock off jersey from china for around $18. Any version you want. I saw one and held it in my hands. Identical, as far as i could tell.

I wouldn't do it but, i wouldn't buy a legit jersey anyway unless it was of a relative etc.

Agree. My days of financially supporting the NFL are over. Same goes for the “Swoosh”.

The irony is my only view of supporting the NFL is by actually going to a game and paying overpriced money on hot dogs and drinks if need be.

Don't know the game, but it was philly, and I just wanted to leave at the end of the 3rd quarter because I didn't want to deal with the traffic and crowds at the end of the game LMAO.

For the most part, gives me sometning that I like to watch on Sunday's.

If they did away with pro sports all together, I wouldn't miss is on the weekends just for something to watch.

Ironcially enough, apparently you DID attend the philly superbowl parade. We are all hypocrites to some extent;)

No different than what people do or feel during the playing of the national anthem 🤣

Realize it or not...if you buy any product from any company that buys advertising from TV networks airing pro sports..you are supporting said pro sports...!

The fans/consumers actually hold the purse strings on all pro sports...if there were no ticket sales and there was no consumer sponsorship support...there would be no money to pay such huge paydays for pro athletes etc...

Just consider the money in NFL. It’s unbelievable.

Stan Kroenke married a WalMart daughter, got a job selling land to WalMart for stores and made billions. Then, he purchased many sports teams - including the Rams.

When he left STL, the city had offered to build him a $900 million stadium - all he had to do was play in the stadium. No money from him. Taxpayer money.

Instead, he decided to use his own money and build a $5.5 billion stadium in LA.

That says it all.

i think if even if you take away ticket sales and consumer goods, tv would still be plenty.

Nah, not really. While I HAVE attended many Eagles games and YES, the Super Bowl parade, BUT it was prior to all the kneeling and anti-America stuff became prevalent
Whenever the National Anthem is played, whether I was a player, coach or spectator, I always put my hand over my heart and face the flag.
So no hypocrisy here.
Like I said, I am too patriotic to attend an NFL game, support the NFL, or buy anything with a swoosh on it.
Too many of the players are anti American, the NFL organization is too weak and feckless to force them to keep their expressions to themselves and the woke corporations just keep insulting their customers by supporting these clowns.

I feel bad for the players who have to hide their patriotism

The guy who made the news started doing it in 2016.

You are a hyprocrite on that note if you don't realize it.

What people forget, is the guy originally sat out the NA, but to actually show some more respect, he kneeled.

At the end of the day, if you aren't causing a disruption during the NA, your focus should NOT be on people "protesting", but the flag and the song.

Apparently you spend too much time trying to figure out how others a unpatriotic in your mind other than what YOU do when the NA plays.

How many people ***** about the fact that when the national anthem is being actually sung, the image is generally on the singer and NOT the flag?

Again, most people who ***** about "patriotism" have never served nor know how to fly a US flag.

Now, if someone was protesting the national anthem by actually making a disturbance and trying to draw attention to themselve by being "rowdy", I'd be as pissed as you are.

As mentioned, no different than public prayer.
