Some 2-WD tractors have adjustable wheel widths in front.
Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for. Here is a picture from the Branson 15 series manual. The front is adjustable to two different positions The rear 4.

When you say match them to the tractor are you talking about horsepower and 3pt category or something else?Best look at the implements and then match them to your tractor.
I think I've got weight and HP matched up pretty well. The weight issues are always tricky for me because of all the slopes I've got. Sometimes what is an absolute piece of cake on flat ground is way to heavy on steep ground. I'll definitely be ballasting the tires. The only horsepower concern I have is with the flail mower. I'll be marginal for that, but it won't be doing heavy work and I should be able to really creep along with the HST if the going gets difficult somewhere. What I really don't want to find out the hard way is that some particular brand of implement just doesn't fit right with some particular tractor after I've purchased both of them.Weight and HP need to be considered as well as the things you already mentioned. Depending on how much ground you will be tilling and how much time you want to spend might cause you to choose a different class.
You just might want to check out this Yanmar
Very nice warranties and discounts and all the
controls are at your finger tips for easy operation.
