Good question.

When we purchased the little guy the seller told me it was his company’s “brand” —- a sort of starburst. He puts it on all his horses.

Never saw that before but the horse is a sweetheart with kids and we’ve had him 6 years.

Honestly I wasn't certain if it was photo shopped or not.

I'm now curious exactly how you brand something that large on an animal? I know nothing about branding except for what I see in westerns, would think something that large would actually be kind of dangerous?

Without totally derailing the thread, my only dog when I was a kid, had her for about 13 years... (pretty certain pic was taken at my grandmothers, and she hated that dog because she always snatched a ripe tomato from her garden from time to time).

My new heeler seems to be wanting on the bed, not happening. We now keep our dogs in Bowser dog beds ($$$$$) on the floor other than my wife's chiuhuahua which is allowed on the leather and bed. Even the chihuahua prefers the Bowser beds to the sofa. When I switched to good dog beds and changed the house rules, I was finally able to stop sleeping on the edge of our bed.:sleep::sleep:
you mean there is something other than the edge of the bed?

When I got my first dog as a puppy somebody told me that if she slept on the bed she would wake me up when she needed to go out.
It worked but I will never do that again. I don't like sharing my bed with a dog... and a 75 lb dog shouldn't need a queen sized bed.

Yes - no dogs on the bed.

Our kitty, however, does whatever he wants.
