Is there any size of tractor that is too big to add a backhoe on it?

I've had the farms little hoe on my Branson 8050, It's been on the CIH Puma 125, New Holland T6050, Ford 8000 and several other full sized tractors.
When I lower the 3 point linkage down it's quite low.

My Kubota L45 TLB seat swivels 45° clockwise--L hand on the steering wheel, R arm over the back of the seat minimizes the twist. One might even control the HST pedal with one's L foot. The seat swivels 180° counter clockwise to operate the BH, but that puts the steering wheel directly behind me where I cannot operate it.

My Yankee Puritan solution: Twist my head as far to the R as possible, hold 10 seconds; twist as far to the L and hold for 10 seconds. Twice a day, every day.

My M59 had a creep lever. It was limited to about 1/3 the speed but that would be good enough to blow snow. If you had something rigged up for steering you could blow snow sitting backwards. The biggest problem I see with a M59 and a snow blower is no factory cab.

Modern Ag machines are usually much higher off the ground that these older machines. OP just needs to be sure they carefully consider the height above ground.

Are you familiar with a JD 4020??

I have an International 1066 (something like 125 at the PTO) and a JCB 1550-B.

I can't imagine trying to have it as one machine. With the rear mount (subframe), all I've seen so far have a seperate seat. I'm spoiled when I'm in the BH as I can rotate around. I borrowed my wife's cousins JD with subframe backhoe.... was a real pain in the hiney (since I'm spoiled) having to change seats to change operations or move machine.

I guess I'm in the camp of get both if you can swing it with the funds and spouse. All the BH does is dig....but I use it for all sorts of tasks. Bluntly, I use it for more tasks than I use the tractor (which has no loader nor backhoe, just a mower towed behind)

The little 3 point hoe didn't like the JD 4020, it is plumbed to use the tractor hydraulics and the older JD closed center system did not like the open center valving on the hoe.

If the backhoe mount was designed to keep it at the right height it wouldn’t matter how high the tractor was. If you take a backhoe designed for a little tractor and slap it on a big tractor it’s probably not going to work good.

Hard to tell from the pictures what size do you think it should have;
I've seen them with 15.5/16.9 to 18.4's
and 32 to 38" rims.

I don't know what it "should" have, I only know of the 4 new ones bought around here, all of them came with taller rubber.

Yeaa, I know 4 isn't a big sample...
