From my home in town, I went to over to my nearest Harbor Freight on Tuesday. I saw 5 Teslas in 4 miles of traffic on the way there. Nearly continuous views of different Teslas, on a boulevard then urban freeway. In addition to the Teslas owned by the neighbors immediately next to each side of my home, so seven overall. I've never seen one dead anywhere.
This was in urban NorCal. Was your experience on long remote stretches of freeway?
Sometimes I joke with the neighbor next to the ranch who is appalled by all the city people buying property around there. "Today I finally got back over to the land of Teslas and Priuses!"
I won't quote what he replies.
