hi LittleBill21 yes true for one at 100% is 1.5 amps but for two at 80% load is 2.4 amps not good (18w lights) thanks tex.

not sure why you are derating the label, the circuit is fused at 10amps. Do what your comfortable with though.

main fuse at the distribution block protects the wire. the 80% derating, was a nec code for commercial "constant" on applications where nuisance tripping could occur, it had nothing to do with the wire itself.

again do what your comfortable with.

Just what would be the WORST that would happen if you drew enough to blow that 10 amp fuse?
Where the wire is, you aren't going to start a fire or do any real damage.
I'd worry more about operating without a helmet then electrical damage from ru.nning a couple lights
