Oil & Fuel Fuel cans

i prolly have 10 no spills, they work fine, I agree they don't shut off consistently. When I got the tractor i bought one of these since my fill neck is on the hood. I rest it on the steering wheel and just wait.

Eagle Safety Cans and done.

I’ve used those and they don’t have many good options to rest the can while they’re pouring and the funnel is a hassle to have to clean every time.

I've quit "pouring" out of cans altogether.

I bought D cell powered pumps, they shut off when the fuel tank is full, so I can sit the can on a rag on the hood, turn on the pump and walk away.

I don't need to buy spl. fuel cans either, I use the empty 2-1/2 gallon jugs my Rotella oil comes in. At 2-1/2 gallon size, they are easy to lift up on the hood too.

i'm surprised your gas station lets you fill up your "oil jugs" with diesel. you must know somebody :)

I have one of those. Hate it. Trying to hold the 5 gal can while you push and hold down that spring button while fuel SLOWLY gurggles away. I like my VENTED VIP Racing can.

I pump 2 gallons out of my diesel generator's 60 gallon tank. Then put back when I get it down about 20 gallons.

I gave up on lifting 5 gallon jugs. Too old, too heavy, unwieldly trying to hold up. Found a new 55 gallon drum and installed a standard home heating fuel oil fill and vent on it. Used a 12volt Amazon 'special' diesel pump kit that included the pump, hose, handle and input hose and strainer. It pumps at about 15gpm. Mounted it on a nice drum dolly that really rolls easily! I replaced the cord and large alligator clips with a 20' cable and a connector that mates with one I put on the fel cross support.

At my age I really enjoy the little things!

I only use about 200 gallons per year so I like the 5 gallon No-Spill cans. Yes a couple hundred gallon barrel with a electric pump would be nice but then you have other issues to deal with.

You must live in a **** state if they even look what you’re pouring fuel into.
