What size cutter for an M7060?

HP, I have a 70 horse. It's not orange, but I don't think that's important. Here's my experience.
My TN70A handles my 10 pull-type cutter just fine. In fact, it's a lot less strain than my 7' 3pt cutter. A twin spindle, with two 5 1/2' blades doesn't pull it down as much as the single spindle 7' cut.

My experience too.

Over 3000 lbs. You must be using a beast of a tractor.

It has hydraulically adjustable dual laminated tailwheels and F & R chains. I've not weighed it but I believe it is a bit under 3,000 lbs.

I've used it on a NH T4050 Deluxe in the past and plan to use it occasionally with my M9960. Both tractors have full front weights.

Dealer is crazy. I'd be going 12'+ with that tractor
Bushhog states in the 1812 batwing manual that the inside rear wheels have a 60” width. The M7060 is 41”. I assume the concern is you could roll the tractor. I have an M7060 and want to get a Bushhog 1812 as well. Let me know if you experience any issues with stability on uneven ground.

LandPride is owned by Kubota. Seems like there should be some charts to see recommended attachments.
The Kubota website has a chart for implements that are compatible with their tractor models.

Center line of the rears are adjustable from a minimum of 55.9 to maximum of 67.7 on a M7060.

Why does the width of the tractor make a difference on a tow behind batwing?

Somebody decided to put a spec in the manual.
Suddenly it became important to everyone that doesn't know any better.

How specifically is that performed?

not all ground is level
By reconfiguring the rear rims and centers to conform to one of the combinations shown in the appropriate section of the operator manual.

Arbitrarily setting a minimum dimension between the rear wheels is suspect because without knowing the overall width and height of the tires along with the weight of the tractor there can be no prediction of tractor stability.
It's a CYA note written by the resident nanny.
