I've gone through the iterations over and over myself. Granted I don't know the financing options, but I knew I needed bigger tires for the mud here, and more HP for items like a PH digger. So I did the next sensible thing -- started looking at a 790.
Granted I'm going to be missing some of the creature comforts (hydro for instance), but in the end, I'd rather have the gears and the ability to run a 5 foot brush hog and not worry about HP.
Personal preference may dictate, but the cost is quite similar between a 2210 w/ FEL and LX4 and a 790 w/ FEL and LX5.
Anyway, just another option!
