as it turned out the chimney did not need cleaning so I took my pack-pack leaf blower up and blew out the gutters. Aound here the fir needles plug everything Up.
Right on! A leaf blower is the best way ever to clean gutters. Blow it twice, once to clean the gutters, once to clean the yard under the gutters.

I have a hip roof with not so much pitch (5/12), so I start up high and corkscrew my way down to the gutters. Then get back down. I really like a 5/12 when it comes to being up there. My last house was a 12/12 and I hated it.

Getting some rain and the temps are in the upper 30's to mid 40's. Still have 4" of snow on the roof. So...... any/all pine needles slide right off.

Got a little rain, and had a had temperatures edging above freezing, but still have significant snow on the ground to the point that the bottom wire of the fence is still in the snow.

Tide was at 8 something feet when it was to be here (high here is 13 something feet), so the waves would have to have been 5 feet to even get to high tide levels. If they were here, I never saw them. They should have been here an hour ago. I'll make another cup of coffee and keep my eye out. :ROFLMAO:
