That dozer should last forever if the horometer just shows 319 hours (?)

I don't remember how it worked on our TD-18, but on the TD-40 you moved a lever to open the valves to the auxiliary chambers that reduces compression (and contained the spark plugs), turned off the diesel fuel injector pump, and allowed the intake to feed through the carburetor (don't remember how that part worked). That gas to diesel lever must pull the valve to increase compression, turn off gas and open diesel fuel flow. Cool.
In my area, there are many hardwoods like valley oak, live oak and almond trees available for the firewood. You say you will be burning the trees? No one uses firewood where you live, or no one with portable log mill? Here out west you have a lot of good money laying there. Great video. They sure don't make good products like that anymore.
I wish I had a neighbor like you. Definitely have lots of dozer work. Especially if its a free dozerIn my area, there are many hardwoods like valley oak, live oak and almond trees available for the firewood.
Also, there are better trees like Douglas fir, cedar, and redwood trees available for portable log mill in Northern California.
No one is interested in the digger pine tree (very soft) for firewood nor log mill.
I wish someone could use it.
It is free![]()

If taken care of, that engine will probably go at least 10K hours.Correction.
The hour meter has been changed in 3500 hours (it wasn't working at the time)
319 hours meaning I have operated that much hour since I acquired it. (15 years)
