There is no warranty on them. The reformer was and is a continual issue. dealers cannot sell them anymore, in fact, they aren't even produced and have not been for a number of years. Kubota really screwed the pooch on that tractor. Is this under warranty?
I learned about this tractor and issue on a YouTube video about the 5 tractors to avoid. My immediate thought was if Kubota didn't step up to the plate on this one, how do I know that if an issue comes up in the new tractor I buy, they wont also leave me on the hook?Oh, darn
Sounds terrible
As usual, you have no idea of what you are posting, yet you post it anyway. There is no warranty on them. Actually, reformers are still available and Kubota has extended the warranty of the reformer and any other emissions parts damaged by a failed reformer for the lifetime of the tractor, regardless of ownership trail. There is no warranty on them. Bingo. As usual, you have no idea of what you are posting, yet you post it anyway.
The B3350 tractors Reformer system has a LIFETIME WARRANTY and is easily reparable. They were produced from 2014 to 2020, production ended with the introduction of the LX3310.
PSB-2021-050-E; "Extend reformer system warranty for the lifetime of the machine The reformer system components will be warranted for the lifetime of the machine. A failure with obvious and deliberate customer interference will not be warrantable. Correct operation and understanding of the emissions system by the customer is vital to ensuring longevity and reliability."
It would have been but not after it has been bypassed. Is this under warranty?
I wasn't aware of that. I thought they played the end game with them. Does the refit require a dealer to do it or can you do it at home? Really not germane to me as they are way too small for my intended uses anyway.Actually, reformers are still available and Kubota has extended the warranty of the reformer and any other emissions parts damaged by a failed reformer for the lifetime of the tractor, regardless of ownership trail.
SDT
The PTO brake upgrade was change made during the M9960 model run. Of course, my M9960 SN is a bit before the change was made.I wasn't aware of that. I thought they played the end game with them. Least Kubota did the somewhat right thing. Kind of wished they had done the same with the weak pto brakes on the M9's instead of issuing an RO but not notifying owners of the refit. As it is, mine are way out of warranty and I just run an overunning coupler on freewheeling implements if there isn't one built in.
Not gonna pay shop time for a split to access the wet pack to have the pack upgraded. Would be especially expensive on mine as they are cab models.

Lifetime warranty= Life of the tractor (PSB-2021-050-E) dated 03/31/2021extended coverage is only going forward starting at the date of the policy change. They are refusing to reimburse me for mine since it occurred after the 5 year warranty and before the "change in policy". I'm out $3750 for parts plus labor (so over $4K . . . I thought it was more before the dealer sent me the work order). I wonder how many others forked over the money for the repairs . . . if I'd have waited for 6 months or so, I'd have gotten the repair for free.
Bingo, and exactly what I said. Warranted for the lifetime of the tractor regardless of ownership. From another thread on Kubota regen problems:

I'll stand by my opinion of Kubota and will not buy a new one.
If you bought an early model (2013-2016) and your regen system crapped out on you after the five year warranty and before 03/31/2021 you are left out in the cold by Kubota. As it stands, it took lots of bad press and 8 years for Kubota to address the problem and stand behind their product. They lost all kinds of credibility in my book and I will not buy a new Kubota because of that. It shouldn't be forgotten, there are a number of owners whose tractors logged as many shop hours as they did work hours. Does Kubota pay to pick up and delivery for warranty service? So there is a policy coverage gap?
Maybe it can be argued as it seems they recognize there is an issue
Far as I know...No but then my dealer has never charged me for that, warranty or not.Does Kubota pay to pick up and delivery for warranty service?
As previously stated, the delay in extending the warranty was inexcusable. If you bought an early model (2013-2016) and your regen system crapped out on you after the five year warranty and before 03/31/2021 you are left out in the cold by Kubota.
