I too, am sorry to see him go. There are several members who I make it a point to read when they post, as they generally are worth taking the time to do so. K0ua was one of them.
I believe that the site is private property; Muhammed has the right to say what goes and stays. Yet it seems like a lot of members are fading away. Just out of curiosity, when was the last time that a new moderator arose from the ranks?

Were you only here for the Covid-19 discussions?

As @MikePA said, I made the decision to ban covid-19 discussions because this is a tractor site, not a general news site, or a politics site. That and we tried allowing the covid-19 discussions but it didn't work out. The topics consistently drifted into politics and those needed to be deleted and members were getting banned and everybody was unhappy.

By any stretch of the imagination, this is not just a tractor site. Otherwise you wouldn't have other catagories unrelated to tractors.

Of the eleven things banned, I regularly see seven. Other members can do their own math.

The problem is how punishment is dealt.

If I violate, punish me, if that includes deleting my post send me a PM outlining my violation and the consequences. If that includes banning me for a time, again explain to me why.

And I'm even in favor of public declaration of the violation I committed and the punishment executed. As others have said, we are all big boys.

Just distribute control and punishment fairly. And do it openly. That's all any of us is asking.

Lastly, I thank God for the ability to sit here and type this post!!! Is that a violation?

Don't need any more. It's excessively moderated as it is.

Employers with 100 people or more were told they will be vaccinated for Covid or your company will be punished. Which "science" was that? Then the Supreme Court, a non political entity said you can't enforce that. Which "science" was that?

See how easy it is to cross lines.
