Don’t buy mahindra

I have one tractor that I use on our small suburban farm, so waiting two or three weeks for a fix wouldn't be a big deal. If I were still running a business and a major piece of equipment failed, I'd want the repair done quickly because lost time is lost money. It appears that this Mahindra is used in a business, so I can understand sunfun26's angst. And, like him, I'd be upset if the factory rep wouldn't talk to me.

Sorry, you are having issues.
I have a Mahindra with 200 hours on it and it works great so I was interested when I saw the title.

Unfortunately, this is a rant to slam Mahindra from a newbie so I tend to ignore these drive-bys. Best of luck and hope it works out.

Some have stated my be the OP's fault for not retightening hardware. What I see is a failure of a retainer whether bolts or snap ring from within a closed housing, which the OP should not need access to. Years ago had a combine that thru a rod. During discussion with the factory rep he stated it was not predelivered properly. Needless to say we got into a friendly argument over that. I stated that was a closed assembly and we should not have to tear it apart to check rod bolts or anything in an enclosed assembly. He stated I was wrong? I said then I need taught how to properly predeliver a combine and we had just sold one so go get your coveralls and expect to spend the next 3 days until we were done. For some reason he decided to agree that we should not have to check inside the assembled parts.

and has 3 posts in 18 years. So, congrats, you are technically correct however,
I didn't bother to look at the other 2 posts but clearly not a community member who gives or receives. I doubt he is aware that this has dragged on for 4 pages.
So let me rephrase, not a thread worth spending much time on for me.

It is frustrating to take the time to offer advice to anyone who never replies. I see it on here a lot.

when I noticed that the account has been inactive for 18 years, my first thought was that he is a TBN hermit crab, who discovered a way to occupy someone else's abandoned TBN account!

Wouldn't they need the original members password to accomplish that?

edit

Now that I think about it, a few weeks back there was a bunch of posts by long term members that had an under 10 post count.

Maybe you are on to something

Yes, I am.
I try to post something that helps, entertains, or benefits others but I do fail at times.

Just today, I wasted 2 minutes responding to someone on a forum who looks to criticize others in hopes of bringing others down so they don't feel inferior.

One thing about a lot of threads on here and that is, they really don't deserve the mileage they get but there is always someone who has to have the final say / last comment.
