I had our trailer painted several years ago still looks nice. Boards are original lasted a long time. Replaced lights with leds added yellow marker light to front corners of the trailer for added visibility

Gotta go get the stuff out of the fridge,
Stay safe and be well,

Speaking of fridges, mine is peeing on the floor. Yesterday I wiped up a puddle, today more. Guess evaporator pan is full?

I finally replaced the rear light with LED's too. MUCH better to have them work w/out fiddling with those stupid little bulb contacts. The yellow side markers are smashed, and haven't worked in 4 years (should swap those for LED's too...).

PA roads are notorious for being bad. On return from Ohio, took a very winding detour, East from Moundsville WV on 250, then 891 was rough as could be. But once we hit PA where it became rt 21, was nicely paved. Pleasantly surprised.

My new camera should come in today.
Realized my current zoom point and shoot could not focus properly, likely due to a drop. An inexpensive Canon.
So...bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ80 with a 60X zoom and a tripod. Time to get serious about bird pictures.
If only to pay tribute to Ron's wonderful pictures. Stabilized and 4k video. Still a point and shoot. But at least it will take
UV filters for pictures at shore. Had problems with that on my current camera; all the bright light created false contrasts.

I will still keep my Apple 12 phone as primary picture taker. If only because it's the one always in my pocket.

Pictures are fun, cost nothing, preserves the moment, and sometimes shows stuff your own eyeballs never saw.
And there never ever will be enough cute kitty pictures.

The amount of media storage capacity TBN has is pretty robust to handle everything posted here. Likely in a cloud somewhere.

Buckeye, that's a nice trailer, interior dimensions of
largest model 5 inches less wide than what I'd prefer, and am looking at. Like the no rust part.

headed out to look at:

Good morning! Was a very pleasant 62 when I got up, 78 now. I’d 80’s are forecasted for today.

Yesterday was rough outside. Highest I saw was 89, but felt worse. Our AC wouldn’t work on Monday, we contacted the heating/cooling people who installed it about 13 years ago yesterday morning, miraculously they had a guy here by lunch time. He finally came to the conclusion the compressor was frozen up after trying a lot of different things, he asked us to review it with him before he called for an estimate to replace the unit. While we were looking at it, he cycled the outside disconnect switch and the compressor abruptly started! It made a rattling sound for about 2 minutes, then quieted down and ran like normal. The tech just shook his head. It has been running fine ever since. We are still getting a quote.

We mowed, it was hot mowing. The canopy did keep the sun off my head, but it was still hot. We both were feeling it last night.

need to plant beans today, never got to that yesterday

Stay safe out there!

Good morning, low temp 66 and going to a high of 77°F. Wind SSE 9 mph.
30% chance of showers.

North Bay trip was thankfully uneventful.

I called my dispatcherette and she assured me that my truck would be in the yard at 9 A.M. on Saturday so that I can transfer my stuff into it. Then over to Scarborough, (the northeast corner of Toronto) to pick up my trailers. Then back to the yard to organise them. As long as I get done all that by 6 P.M. I will be in good shape for loading at midnight on Sunday night.

Friday mornings post will be the last you hear of me until the fall. Good news for you guys, eh?

Have a safe day all

82F and partly cloudy @ 11:30, "feels like" 86F. Humidity 55% ?

56% chance overall of getting some of the wet stuff today, not likely until around 17:00 or later though.

Bait gone from live trap but not tripped and nothing captured. Woman says I need to oil it up which is probably true.

She was outside picking up sticks in the Northeast planting bed and came inside to ask me to pull the Cub out of the garage so she could take the dump cart over to load them up.

She went downstairs to open up the back door (at my request) and decided she'd stay inside and work on cleaning up in the basement. Good idea.

One of the 4 x 4's I was going to use for the frame in the Water Buffalo is splitting and coming apart so I need to go over and get another one to cut to length.

Beyond that not sure what all I'll get into today.

Have a couple of bills to schedule for payment.

Dole out another round of meds.

Still have some bare roots that need planted.

Need to dispose of the chipmunk carcasses which will involve a trip up to the burn pile and reset that trap. Bait and set the trap that is around back.

Probably drop off the new HF tools at the shop and turn on the AC while I'm up that way.

Feels like I might be getting due for another haircut.

Hope everyone has a good Hump Day ... (y)

Good morning to all! Low of 52°, going up to a high of 76°. Finally a period of nice days. Yesterday was very nice. We actually have a very slight (30%) chance of a t-storm tomorrow afternoon. I really hope the odds are in our favor.... it's been 72 days without a trace of precipitation here.

I think I'm getting over the 'crud' / bug that I contracted. Sunday and Monday, I barely got out of bed. Yesterday morning was feeling much, much better. General weakness and a mild cough was all that remained. No alligators were detected snooping around. I still took it easy all day.

Unfortunately, the wifey started with a sore throat last evening.... this morning showing the same symptoms that I had. Hopefully it will be a short lived bug also. She is also negative for an alligator bite.

Drew, good luck with your trailer search. If you remember my restoration of my small 4x8' utility trailer. I must have replaced the tail lights at least 3 times. Just bad placement, always catching them on something and breaking them off. Finally relocated them and welded protection frames around the newest set of LED trailer lights. It's been about a year now, they are still working and still in the same mount!

Kyle, good luck with the new job! Hope it is a pleasant indoctrination.

L4N, good luck with your return to work, hope everything goes as planned. Check in when you get an opportunity. Stay safe, watch for those moose!

Today's agenda includes trying to get the one area where the 2 transplants were done. Need to get the drip irrigation reconfigured, the post and rail fence put back together. Then ,of course, more mulch. I'm not sure if I'll have the energy to finish, but I'm gonna give it my best shot! The sun will do me good.

I'm sure I missed some on-goings here.... been trying to stay on top of reading the posts, but that was almost TMI..... you guys are always busy!

Everyone have a great day!

68°F and no rain.

Need to make a PO run. Wheel spacers for Sophie’s BX are listed as arrived. 19.1 hours on the meter she says her mowing is caught up.

My only plan is to finish install of my Starlink. Want to get decent operation before I attempt integrating the Ubiquiti portion. Not a networking guru so could be challenging.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

So nice to come on GM this morning and all the pics display as I read. Had missed that pleasure lately.

well David here's another pic
successful morning, decided to get smaller black trailer, 15" radials on 5x8, spare tire, LED lights, even pinstriping.
2300 capacity more than I need.
I like the way gate folds forward, though if anything in there has to be straight up.
sure bangs like crazy pulled empty.

Nice trailer...if you don't mind me asking, what did that set you back?

My smaller trailer is 6’ inside by 10’ long, gate also folds to the floor when empty if you so desire. I rarely fool with that. My mower deck is 60” and will only fit with the deflector chute off. My big trailer is 22x8 and I only use it when I have to.
