7000 ford

I am changing the oil and filter on my ford 7000,I notice that the new filter is 2 inches longer then the old one Old is 6in new is 8in,just wondering if that is ok ,I realize that it will require more oil to fill to full mark,Thanks

Is the replacement filter Ford New Holland or aftermarket. Was the old filter after market or Ford NH? Suspect would not be a problem but curious if cross from two different manufacturers.

The original filter for the turbocharged 7000 was larger than the filter on the naturally aspirated engine. It also had a check valve in it to keep oil in the turbo
