The company I worked for had a torch head for the plasma, never used it. I think it would have cut the thicker steel better. But then again ours wasn't a large machine. What makes this special to you?

I'm going to venture a guess here and bet that there isn't anything that isn't 3 phase in the whole building. I'm actually surprised that the table full of clamps didn't get liberated along the way sometime.

Fine with me actually, my entire shop is 3 phase with 440 coming in reduced to 220/3 at the drop pole.

If you read the whole thread you’ll know that he is working for the guy that owns the property, this was a company that built parts for two other companies that built Tele-handlers.
I could think of a lot less confrontational term than “nosey bystander“.
