Initial attachments to get with new Kubota L3560LE?

From the looks of it you should be able to take the Right directly to the left and the Left to the right side, mount them with the tread pattern facing forward like they are now. That is to say leave the front of the tire wheel assembly toward the front and leave the wheel attached to the center.
This will hug the tires in a lot. and should end up just as you want.
Post a picture shot from the same angle as your first photo when you are finished.
BTW like kthompson said be careful with the back jacked up as the front axle pivots and could easily fall. KennyV

Thanks everyone for the advice, I'm glad I posted because you all provided a lot of necessary info. I ended up taking one tire off at a time, unbolting the inner dish and flipping it around. I tried switching tires from side to side but they came in too much and there was no clearance.

Here's another question about attachments.....I'm seeing a wide range of prices for pallet forks -- everything from $480 for Titan 2,600lb capacity forks with free shipping to over $1,200 for 4,000lb forks from various suppliers. My Kubota L3560LE has a FEL lift capacity of 1,715lbs, so I assume there is no need for 4,000lb capacity forks. Do you all find Titan implements like these to be of good quality? I don't want to over-spend for overkill.....I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

Are you considering clamp-on-the-bucket pallet forks or SSQA pallet forks?

My new L3560LE has the quick-attach, so I'm looking at SSQA.

Will your pallet forks be used in lieu of a grapple?

Most SSQA pallet forks have a generous operator protection guard, an important feature.

Considering the lift capacity of L3560 FEL, 36" forks will be much more maneuverable for brush and timber loading than 48" or 60" forks.

My Kubota LA805 FEL will lift about 2,000 pounds to 24" height. The SSQA, 2,000 pound capacity pallet forks I purchased from ETA/Construction Attachments, were supposedly stress tested with 6,000 pound transient loads.

I'm also getting a grapple. The pallet forks will be for as needed general stuff, but I plan to use the grapple for the brush work.

I suggest you start with SSQA pallet forks, then order a grapple if you find it is needed.

A third function valve for operating the grapple jaws + the grapple itself is quite a bit of money combined.

In my experience it is best to order attachments and implements only when necessity calls.

You have a L3560, right? Is there a way I should tell my dealer to initially mount the rear wheels to maximize the width? I think I have seen posts discussing that, but I cannot find anything specifically addressing that in the L3560 specifications online. Thanks.

A good dealer should know this. The wheel spread adjustment follows the same procedure for all Grand Ls......and all new MX series tractors.

However, in direct reply to your question, the L3560 Operator's Manual has explicit diagrams illustrating R4 wheel spread iterations. L3560 rear wheels/tires can be spread to any of three width increments: 52.2", 53.5" or 57.7" tread width.

The widths are for tread width, center of one rear tire to the center of the rear tire on the opposite side, so no matter what R4s you choose, outside to outside rear tire measure will be APPROXIMATELY 9" wider than tread width.

My property here in the Texas hill country is rocky and hilly. My half-mile driveway is narrow and curvy and fairly steep in places.

Consider your choices carefully, do not automatically go Whole Hog on wheel spread. Two inches on each side is modest. Five inches on each side is way more. I cannot advise more specifically from here.

Medium weight Kubota tractor wheels are shipped unmounted to the chassis on the delivery truck. Dealer should not charge you a supplement for initial, wider-than-factory-default wheel/tire spread.

Thank you very much. I'm sure my dealer knows this, but I want to make sure I am asking about it in the right way. I really appreciate your help.
