Not really, unless you don’t count the cost of the trailer. Unless there is a need for frequent transportation, owning a trailer just for that purpose is not very cost effective. Tractors of this size are easily transported on a rollback tow truck for far less than the cost of a trailer and tow vehicle.
as you stated it depends i would hate to call the tow truck to transport my tractor 300 miles very often.

I would hate to have to transport my tractor 300 miles very often no matter what the mode of transportation.

I recognize that in Texas (and other large western states) that driving 100 miles one way just to go out to diner is not that rare.

So it WILL crank but wont start? Big difference.

People are frustrated with your posts and having difficulty helping you because you're including information that isn't correct and or irrelevant.

Sorry, I am late. I got COVID after I got my tractor back. I got mechanics that had left dealership to connect the plug that the dealership sold me. Then they returned my tractor that of course would not crank. That is all they did, just wired the plug into wire that goes to water sensor. Then I called the dealership after I filed a recorded complaint about the dealership with corporate office and dealership sent out two mechanics. The spin on fuel filter was of course leaking and they replaced it. 😳😂Then the main filter, silver that doesn’t spin on, had the long bolt stripped and it was also leaking fuel. Good grief! Y’all taught me how to do that. The dealership had to call a wrecker to pick up my tractor. They said old owner had a trailer with a winch but they didn’t trust it. 😂 I called and talked to the new manager and asked him if he had a few minutes so I could explain to him without being interrupted and he said here is my cell number. Call me on that. He understood. We were both calm and professional. He said as soon as your tractor gets here we are rolling it in and I am going back there, too. I said well there isn’t a new air filter on it either. He promised me that he would personally make sure my tractor was in tip top condition and I told him I believed him after meeting him and talking to him. Two days later my tractor was back, cleaned up and sounds like my tractor again. They found a corroded wire at the diode above the battery causing the tractor not to start. 🤷‍♀️🤭They replaced fuel filter where the bolt had been stripped out and replaced the whole unit. They replaced the air filter, also. I got everything done and returned free of charge. I am pleased but those things are things that should have been done 3 months ago and it all started with the plug. I couldn’t believe they stripped the long bolt out of the fuel filter. Nope. Just couldn’t. He said they went over everything that was done when they had it to make sure it was done right. Again. I am happy, except for COVID but this was a mess. And I didn’t have to buy a new harness, or computer or tractor! 😂😂😂😂The other guys said my tractor was junk and I needed to buy another one. I finally had enough and told him to bring my beast of junk back because I loved it. All I wanted him to do was put the dang plug on and I knew he was telling me all of this to sell me a new tractor. I told him to hush that mess up. I love my tractor. You guys know a lot about tractors and in the last four years, I have had to learn a lot about them. I told the manager I had the manuals if he needed anything printed off for new mechanics. Lol He kinda chuckled and said no, I am going back there this time. The so called “retired owner” that wanted to go out with me during his messy divorce, (no I didn’t go), called twice and left messages. He is an ass. That is why three of them have left. And probably why he got a divorce after 1 year. 🤭I blocked him. I will talk to the professional, nice, cute as can be young, new manager and if that doesn’t work I have the number for the corporate office. I get tired of this but that is the way it is.
I always appreciate your help and I learn so much from just getting on here in the evenings and reading. I can take constructive help but not destructive criticism. So be nice. If I don’t post again for a while, I hope you continually thank God above for our blessings because even in times of trouble we should be counting those blessings and helping each other. That is what we are supposed to do. So I really, really mean thank you. When guy friends are here standing around and I fix something they ask how did I fix it? Or no you didn’t. And because of some of you and your help I can and I never give out my secrets. 😄😂 I love it. I always want to say TractorByNet guys but ummm that is my secret unless they are a super close friend. One of my guy friends went home and told his wife there wasn’t any sense in him coming over to help me. I knew what I was doing and he didn’t. lol it made me feel so good doing something like that and being an old woman. So thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you have a beautiful, magical Christmas!

I got a real bad case of COVID after my tractor was delivered. So there is your answer. I would highly advice everyone not to get it! It has been horrible. I am double vaxed and have had the booster. This is one of the variants from Omicron. They are working on a booster now that will zap the Omicron variants. I am waiting on it. Well, I am waiting for my lungs and body to heal right now. This is the second day in three weeks for me to be up. So be careful arrow.

Simple things first, eliminate the obvious. Is it in neutral? Is the PTO disengaged? Are there lights on the panel when you turn the ignition on?
Checked, checked and double checked. I cleaned battery cables again with all of my new tools and sprayed them. No corrosion but I did it anyway. I just posted what happened. I lost my dang temper when they brought it back after being serviced and it was like a half licked calf. I had never received service from them like that before. Thank you for your reply.

I agree. I drove the long vans of athletes when I was in college and we were going to a tournament. Those idiots would scream every time I went around a curve. I finally pulled over and said next! I am not pulling an expensive tractor and trailer 60 miles. I did pick up a load of umpires for a National Tournament and managed to get them all to opening ceremonies in one piece. Those long vans are not for me. I ran over the curb and all of the guys bounced up in the air and I got tickled. I had to look in the mirror when it happened and I said whoops! They laughed, too. I can pull anything else on trailers, golf cart, four wheelers, equipment but not my tractor or drive and extra long van. At least the umpires were quiet. Lol Well until the curb. 😂😂
