Got it running. Water in fuel separator and batteries that may have been allowed to freeze by previous customer.
I ended up doing a hot shot from my buddies service truck and about 1/2 a can of starting fluid.
Runs like a champ again.

I doing think this melted ECM fuse was helping much, either

Now to get that frame sandblasted & painted…..

I need a 12 footer.
I found a nice one for very reasonable cost. The seller has 2 identical 12’ beds. Claims they are Air Flo and those are AR450 steel. Says the serial # tag and manufacturers tag is missing on both bodies…..

You're thinking 'Cheques in the mail" scenario?
It's hard to describe without actually hearing it but 450 has a different, higher pitched ring to it more than regular mild steel if you hit with a bfh. If it hasn't been blasted, the mill scale is a lot less flakier also. Can you get a gander at a spot that hasn't been painted?

The bed is 300 miles north of me. Seller says his auction company bought out the inventory of a truck body company that went under. Its honest because there’s several other similar units in his pictures and he has a good FB seller reputation. He was willing to let my trucking company hand him my company check after inspecting the body, so I wasn’t worried about the money, just the bed itself being Air Flo with AR450 steel. Also don’t want china drive system in floor, but that’s easy to cover.

Just can’t get past the serial tags missing….

So it's got fixed sides with a center chain, odd setup....wonder how the chain feeds all the product unless the sides are sloped to the center? Looks like a well built tailgate, well reinforced and it's also got the high sides you were after. Should handle rocks well as long as the bottom is well built where it'd be cut out for the conveyor.

Air Flo makes a heck of a body. AR450 is some serious steel. I sent pics of the body to local Air Flo rep and didn’t hear anything back, yet.
I can’t sell my stainless steel 10 footer. Even advertised it in NY where they are more popular.
Previous owner told me the set up I removed would cost $40,000 today. Can’t sell it for $10K and it’s in nice shape….

I‘ll look around at other truck bodies while I am blasting & painting frame. Time is on my side, for a little while. Might come back to this 12 foot Air Flo. At $5,000 its a very good value.

That's a really good price. Couple of $K for a dump cylinder, cradle and such and you're in business.
Too bad you can't sell the other, I figured it'd go fast in that kind of shape and for that price.
