Tree Puller used as a Shear

Use my Danuser Intimdator routinely to pull up small diameter brush and trees. Particularly places I can’t mow to keep clear. Large amounts of vines. Not sure if having two moveable jaws instead of one makes a difference? Or how the jaws align on some of the others? Clamp low then move forward preferred or back from fence before lifting.

Wonder if breaking sharp edges on the teeth would allow for more clamping versus cutting or breaking?

Longer jaws give better line on sight. Also has oval relief on tooth bars to better grip larger diameter stuff close to tractor for higher breakout force.

Being able to excavate and break roots before pulling helps tremendously on bigger stuff.

Highly productive and well designed tool that is fun to use.

that's good to know. The need for this is driven by the bunches of annoying thorn bushes and wild rose bushes at my fence lines which make for a dreadful fencing job. Plus I want more visibility to the road.
I modified my puller to go on the 3pt or SSQA FEL. If working a densely populated area I can put the puller on the rear of the tractor with the Grapple on the FEL. Pull and pile. Haul away. Repeat.

I scrounged thru my pics but couldn't find what I wanted....

Friend of mine has a puller that has the ends of the jaws cut to a wedge shape. He can close the jaws, point them toward the ground and push them into the ground around a larger tree cutting off roots. Then pull the tree.

The Danuser puller can do that. It’s a beast paired with a CTL.

Yeah it seems the Danuser is the pinnacle of these types of attachments. It’s basically a stump bucket and tree puller in one and can also do general grab and carry type of work. It opens to a huge width if i remember correctly.
