Popg - I think that I have read where you have been to Stuart, FL. before taking your customers.. The question I have is that a new area for people to vacation or do they have buisness that takes them there.. Just curious if it is a vacation area..

It’s a well established vacation area, below Ft Pierce and above West Palm with a lot of sport fishing boats. The majority of my trips are for the same long time client that “Snowbirds” there, and likes for me to take them, so I rarely delegate the trip to someone else.

48 outside this AM, I think it looks foggy, heading to mid-60's today. Should be a really nice day.

SO managed to walk to the milk house and approved all wiring and lighting. LOL. Then added that the additions on one wall may not be needed after all. More LOL. Anyway, I am determined to fish and find that wire that goes into the one inside wall - the other dimension. Who knows what I may come across. Very perplexing.

Another issue I noted, with the warm weather spell, the concrete floor is sweating. Pretty bad too. I need to get busy on the mini-split, but also need to rethink a sealer of some sort. That's after I smooth out where I busted through some walls.

Will set up the game cams again today, and go look for some more firewood in the back forty today.

All this beer talk - I am a lager man. Served cold - like revenge.

Hope all have a great day, be safe.
Glad to hear the wifey is doing some walk abouts.
Good morning
It’s 55 and not going to change much throughout the day.

Yesterday was slow paced, meeting at the airport was postponed until today, but not before I was already there. Took wife to hospital for colonoscopy, and picked her up afterwards. Paid attention to Zoe, I forgot how much energy a puppy has. I should have paid more attention when the breeder said that she was “spunky and adventurous”!
Got to see the FAA doctor and have a new medical certificate. The worst part of that ordeal is when they remove the EKG probes from my hairy chest.

I think today will start with breakfast with the professor, then my meeting from yesterday. Not much else planned, I’ve got a prodigious manure pile to deal with, but the ground is an absolute swamp, so it will wait for a freeze.
Reminds me of the scene in the 40 year old virgin movie. I still laugh to tears watching that scene.
Good morning! 36˚F North wind, clear skies heading to the mid 60s.

Went to the podiatrist Dr. yesterday and she said I was lucky for my plantar fasciitis to heal so quickly and confirmed the swelling was gone, no more visits required. I bought 2 more insoles to put in the shoes I normally wear and am glad I no longer limp.

Noticed the Barber shop has increased their price this year, second year in a row, now $20.

Getting caught up on little maintenance projects around the house during the "furlough". Trimming hedges, washing garage floor, putting on new windshield wiper blades, etc..

Today I'll detail my truck.

I started a Spanish learning online course/app. I'll see if I can stick to it long enough to learn enough. I have a 8 day streak going. The course/app is called Duolingo. My wife has been doing it for two years and is doing good and is my tutor. You get points for each completed lesson and compete against others at your level. You want your score to stay in the promotion zone to get to the next level. And yes there is a demotion zone line that you need to stay above. Last night I was #2 in my level but Nathaly was closing in. The weekly promotion zone is the top 15 and the demotion zone is below 23rd place.
Glad to hear your PF is on the down side. Son and I got haircuts today, with tip it was about $50.
Light is done
Ordered a couple canvas painter cloths for the future.

I figured you would get about 2 days of retirement before the honey doos start coming. :) I know I will have plenty coming my way some day.

Ron, sorry about your friend getting killed.

My family is mostly well now, just still have persistent hacking now and then. I just finished my regiment of Doxycycline.

I need someone to rebuild my McIntosh MC2250...so I can blast my JBL L200's. Brother had L300's but sold 'em out from my grasp. Wish I had them now. Typical wifey, wants to get rid of it all....the nerve of some people.

Daughter's impala (my old commuter) had a belt squeak. Finally with enough light, I determined it needed a new harmonic balancer flywheel. Also put a new Timken seal behind it, but I think it's actually leaking a bit of oil at the oil pan gasket. I got the balancer/seal installed in 1:20 minutes, checking the time as I was rolling the jack back into it's corner. I was lucky I didn't have to drop the subframe. Could've been done in an hour if I didn't have to search around for some decent degreaser in an aerosol can. Ended up using starter fluid. Everything's working like it should. I keep a few records now on my maintenance of the vehicles. The 3.4L engine was a quart low on oil (most of it probably leaked out). Checked my records and it has gone 4300 miles since I changed oil, so not too bad. So car has new balancer, belt tensioner and Bando belt. Alls Quiet on the belt front now.

We have had an absolutely splendid last few days of weather. A bit brisk in the mornings, warming up to 70's. Almost 80 today and hardly any clouds.

Moon is out full, like Ron's picture.

Hope all of you have a blessed weekend. Prayers for our team, our country, Ukraine.

Good Evening All, and thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Situation is moving forward for separation and divorce, and I am not making these moves. Wife has apparently hired a lawyer (probably with money that I supplied - uggh) and in any case, I know nothing yet. This afternoon I made specific contact with a lawyer to arrange retainer etc. Meeting won't be for about a month, but it's a start. Hoping Mediation is an option. This may put a real pickle into the Tax Season / office income for me in the coming months, but that is a different matter.

I have support of Siblings, Family, Friends, Counsellor, Pastor ... and I described some of my thoughts this way ...

I had the vision that Satan is PUSHING her with false information, and God is PULLING me through it all to the other side
🙂
... not sure if that makes any sense.

I'm the mule (or something like that)

I need to find an artist that can make a painting similar to this. 🤠 that

Well, that's about it for today. Bank appts are on Monday.

Men's Ministry Breakfast (monthly) is tomorrow at the church. I plan to attend.

I have my truck back, and operational again.

Property Tax Appraisal notice arrived, shows a slight increase in value in the past year, of about 3 %.

Have a good weekend all.

God morning, low temp is 10 and the high to 14°F. Wind N 3 mph. 30% chance of flurries.

Daugen, if you have left over vegetables and mashed potatoes (without butter and milk in them already), mix it all into the potato pot together and fry that in a frying pan flattened into thinish patties. It's called bubble and squeak. It is really good.

My eyes on my road is the neighbour lady that cooks the goodies for me, she didn't let me know about the plow going by the other day. [I can't see the road from the house so never know when the plow goes by.] So when I went out yesterday that was the first I knew of the plow. I drove through huge windrow, got everything done on the list and had to come back and go plow windrows. That took me all of 3 hours mainly because I stopped and yakked to a couple of neighbours. One is drunk most of the time and the other looks like he is about 90. He is 12 years younger than me. I must be doing something right, people mistake me for about 55.

We don't cook many veggies here BUT I do like a coleslaw with vinegar dressing. They say on the package that it is oil and vinegar, but I think they pour the vinegar into the slaw beside an oil can. Pickled beets and sweet mixed pickles round out my veggie intake.
My once a month full rack of ribs always comes with sweet potato fries lightly done (crispy fries are hard to eat with no teeth) and a large coleslaw. If no sweet potato fries, then no potatoes.

Today is an energy conservation day.

Have a safe day all

   / Good morning!!!! #162,360
Drinking first cup of coffee. 30° with clouds this morning. Heading to 34° with peak of sunshine in afternoon. Sassy got extra treats for trying to warn me about alarm. We both slept good last night.
Install of new WIFI 6 mesh network. Went as good as could be expected for a older person. Main computer now has 948 MBPS Download and 24.53 MBPS Upload. All cameras are happy with good signals. My iPhone has good WIFI at back barn. Which is 180' from house. Still need to install a outdoor Mesh WIFI unit at barn. It is on backorder.
Today will be a conserve energy day.
This little squirrel keeps trying to get access to feeders. No luck yet.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.
