Bearing removal

My uncle redid the spindles on a small catapillar
and he used nickel silver welding rods to build
them up and then ground them to spec's

I used silfos to solder a/c copper fittings and I
didn't have any solder so used silfos to solder
some heavy copper wires and had a piece that
was sticking out and I could not cut it off with
wire cutters had to grind it off, it sure went up in
price $4 a stick and higher???

Well got axle out ring gear got couple chips..branson say two diff ring gears..one with dowl pin one without...they dont seem to know which one i have. so going tear down axle..and determine..one i will need new diff..other i dont....tractor be death of me Thank u

Well took two months but i got it done..new pinion and ring installed..no leaks..Wish to thank All that assisted me..thank u All

Question..how do u keep diff lock in...im plowing snow thats its manual shift trans with clutch.

You press it with your right heel. Isn't the clutch pedal on the left and the diff lock on the right on your tractor?
