That one call was in all ways a potential game changer.

As a consumer, much prefer Dollar Tree vs Dollar General, and was pointing out how happy I was that Dollar Tree actually opened up in our small town.

Also as a consumer, I spend no money with the NFL other than watch their games, nor do they pay me anything, so at the end of the day, no affect on my life

The completed pass that got called back put them on the Chief's 20 yd line with a 1st down.

Let's just say when I was billed out $950 to fix a problem with my one Honda accord, and the mechanic didn't actually fix the problem, and then the owner told me sorry but he wasn't responsible for the fixing it right the first time, I wasn't as graceful

Note - bypass BBB and the states attorney's office and just save yourself the time and go to small claims court. Took me 3 months to figure that out, but I got the amount of money charged that was supposed to fix the problem that was never fixed.

Funny thing, the owner of that shop told me he'd only give me my money back IF I promised in writing that I would not relay my negative experience with him (this is the same guy who told me to pound sound and that I didn't have a leg to stand on and I'd never get my money back).

Like I said, far from graceful on my end per that ordeal.

The reality is for the most of the first half, the Eagles had everything going for them (pretty much all the stats and score).

The game should never have been close to begin going into the 4th quarter if the Eagles defense came out playing the way they were supposed to play.

Reality is the chiefs beat the eagles in a fair and square game and the officiating was good. Chiefs offense was better than the Eagles defense.

This is why it's a 4 quarter game and you have to play good all 4 quarters.

It was a very exciting game, right down to the last play. So many of them have been like that this year, especially in the CFL. Football was a lot more fun to watch this year than in the past. I can’t tell you how many games I have seen where it was decided on the last play of the game. at least in the last minute or so.

Completely agree with you.

That said, being a life long Eagles fan since being a kid, I took the game a little differently

1981 was a lot harder for me though.

That said, it was a great game, just the way of the dice roll and Philly doesn't have anything to be ashamed of, they just got beat by a better team.

America is a Country of individual rights. I don't support or agree with the "Taking A Knee" but am very happy and proud I live in a Country where an individual can do such without fear of getting arrested or possibly shot for engaging in such activity.

I think anyone who has watched the Chiefs all this year certianly understands that you must end the game well. The Chiefs coaching staff has shown they can win the last minute of play many times. Even with the AFC Championship against the Bengals.

On another note, all this year the Eagles have been declared the Perfect Team, The best team ever by the press. They have had a GREAT YEAR. Everyone who knows football understands that. I live in KC. Are the Chiefs better than the Eagles? Maybe in the Super Bowl game Sunday. The Bengals beat the Chiefs 3 of the 4 games this year. But they lost the AFC Playoff game. The Bengals had a great team again this year.

So who is the best??? Bills, Bengals, Eagles ---Well on what day? They all should be proud. The Bengals had the AFT title last year. But Sunday is the day that the Chiefs won.

The best team ever can have a day that they do not do well. That is why it is gambling. In all honesty, if I were to bet on the game, I would have bet on the Eagles. But then, I would have lost. The Eagles played a very good game, and so did the Chiefs.

The Chiefs have lost, both in the Superbowl and the AFC Championship. I did not see, and hope I never see behavior like we are seeing in Phil. They should be proud of the their Eagles, they are an excellent team.

If I remember correctly when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl last time, there were people on this forum that advocated "I hate the overtime rules" Do away with them and inferred that was the reason the Chiefs won.
Next year is a different year, and all teams will have another opportunity.

For whatever reason, Philly football fans have always suffered from "social disparity dysfunction syndrome". AKA their lives suck so bad so the only thing they have in their life in their football team that does nothing for them but give them false hope in becoming something they're not.

EVERY team has it fair share of horrible fans that do stupid crap, but for whatever reason, Philly seems to have more of them (I remember when I lived outside Morgantown WV and burning couches was a thing and before it became a felony LOL).

On a side-note, I thought most of the commercial sucked and even my wife who was watching the game with me commented she couldn't believe they would pay top dollar advertising space.

Per my previous post, if the eagles actually played all 4 quarters good, that one legitimate hold call would have not mattered.

I agree the call could have went either way, but it didn't go to the eagles favor.

Please keep in mind, I'm a huge Eagles fan. That said, in losing, like winning, do it with grace. No reason to vandalize property or climb light poles

It would have mattered big time. It was 3rd & long and would have then been 4th and long with about 1:40 on the clock. This would have forced the Chiefs to kick a field goal or risk going for it on 4th down.
That would have left the Eagles a lot of time on the clock. There was so much time left the Chiefs actually held back on scoring to finish off the eagles.

It made a huge difference and sealed the game for the Chiefs. It reminded me of the call against the Bengals this year and the year the Bengals lost the Superbowl to the Rams.

The refs decided that super bowl, too.

At least the players shook hands at the end, unlike Tom Brady who ran away when he lost and cried to Giselle.

That pretty much ended after we won the Super Bowl 5 years ago, but there’s still some idiots out there for sure. Hopefully they will die off lol

At least Philly doesn’t have fans shooting & murdering each other like at LA vs. SF games.

NFL officiating has been really suspect the last few big games. The refs want to be big stars like the players.

Yep, ask the Cincinnati Bengals fans how they feel about ref calls in the last seconds of big games, or New Orleans Saints fans….
Those last minute calls have to be obvious, balatant fouls.
You look at that “holding” call in this Super Bowl, then watch the remainder of the play and you can see Maholmes overthrew the receiver. It wouldn’t have been caught even if there was no holding.
The refs decided that game. 3rd & 8 turns into 1st & goal? Game changer.

Tom Brady led the way into “influencing” refs to make calls since he was the fair haired boy of the NFL. Now it’s Maholmes. The camera loves him, the fans & media love him. I think he’s the best player in the NFL and he certainly doesn’t need any help from the refs.

Just let the players play the game and pull out the flags when the call is obvious. Stop with the Tom Brady lightweight calls.

It’s in the past now. Another big ref call affects the outcome of the game, but time to move on.
