Wishing you many many more trips around the sun.
About the same forecast for here 8-12" or 12-18". I'm hopeing for 4-6" myself.38F cloudy storm arriving around 9pm shutting off Wednesday AM,calling for 10-14 inches of wet heavy snowsure hope the ground freezes.
Work day was busy, after work 2 stops for critter food attach plow to pickup.
Plans for the evening...grill some chops and feet up early pillow time tonight.
Enjoy your evening all.
35 outside this AM, heading to mid 40's.
Yesterday's weather was interesting, little bit of everything. I especially enjoyed the snow squalls with the ridiculously large flakes. Nothing stuck but it sure was pretty when it was coming down.
More Milk House work today. Two more lights need to be hung. I also need to go find a table saw so I can start ripping wood for the inside trim. Don't need anything spectacular, just simple and stout.
Awesome. Thanks for the info. I need to make a move in the next week or two. I have a lot of window trims to custom cut. Either that or I get real good with mortar mix. The concrete is just difficult to work with and around. I have plenty of wood left over from various projects so all I need is a decent saw.Mike,
Have been doing some research on table saws myself, mainly due to the non-standard miter slot and the goofy throat plate on the cheap Craftsman table saw I have ... although for the $100 I think I paid for it, I have been pretty happy with how it cuts ... after having put a decent Freud combo blade on it ...
Dewalt seems to real popular with contractors for portable 10" "job site" table saws. Think those are around $550 to $700 depending on the model and where you look.
Skil has a couple of table saws that have gotten good reviews.
They make a 8 1/4" worm-gear drive (SPT99T-01, $375 on Amazon, reviewed in the 2nd video) and a non worm-gear drive 10" portable (TS6307-00, $329 on Amazon, reviewed in the next video below) both of which seem to have pretty good reviews:
But the one I've been lusting for is the larger 10" worm-gear drive with an increased rip capacity and the big wheels (SPT99-11):
I see that they are now offering that one for $569 on a "limited time deal" ... which I think is around $80 less than the last time I checked a few weeks ago.
Believe there is a SPT99-12 ... which might be a newer model. Not sure what the differences are.
Anyways, good luck in your researches ...![]()
