Nice picture. Our Cardinals are almost done attacking the mirror on the vanCoffee has finished brewing. 53° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 73° with morning rain and cloudy afternoon. Changed house and RO filters yesterday. Ordered new set of filters for next year. Got tire unmounted and tried to fix leak in side of tube. No luck. New tube showed up later in the day. Will get it installed later today. Need to start putting weed killer down around paver bricks.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.
Good Morning All.
For me it's pretty easy. How are we to know how much we load the FEL anyway. I fill the 72 inch bucket with top on it with wet clay. I am sure it is way overloaded compared to actual rating? Something tells me when there is bounce in the FEL while driving it is loaded
I take no pleasure saying so but I think that horse is out of the barn. We have to be more successful with what we have.Putting a patch on the problem will not solve it Drew. The family and faith must become a part of our Country again as it was when most of us were growing up
Thank you. good summaryFor me it's pretty easy.
If my FEL can't lift it it's way too much.
If the FEL can lift it but my loaded rear tires come off the ground it's still too much for safety.
My 72" bucket attached to my M4700 LA1001 FEL has a listed lift capacity of about 1000 kg or 2200 lbs and a struck volume of about 10.9 cubic feet (about 1/3 cubic yard). I've filled it heaped with wet gravel, lifted it, felt the rear lift, and then put it down to tip a little out. Gravel weighs about 3,000 lbs/yard, so I suspect my bucket had a little over 1,000 lbs of gravel. I need more weight on the back for full lift capacity.
I suspect your lift capacity to be about 2,500 lbs.
Your bucket capacity may be a little more but I don't think even heaping it with wet clay (2,970 lbs/yard per this link ) it would be way overloaded.
It is a touchy subject for sure. Maybe someone would post shooting history by state. Heard that there are 45000 killed by guns a yearI take no pleasure saying so but I think that horse is out of the barn. We have to be more successful with what we have.
Most patches fall off...
and who is to say what faith is the right one and the right amount of it?
As long as we act like good citizens, respect others, even love our neighbor, I'd be happy with that and a neighborhood
full of agnostics. So many people do terrible things in the name of their faith.
Faith, particularly organized religion, brings values, norms and expected behavior.
I've always wondered why organized religion didn't do more about societal violence.
More than one shooting a day. I briefly mentioned personal protective gear to my school board. Very touchy subject.
But we just can't put our heads in the sand and pray to a higher power. Whatever higher power you prefer.
Just doesn't seem to be working.
We need better technology
and for sure improved access to mental health care
Sane folks with automatic rifles do not shoot up the world.
They shoot up feral pigs.
seems like we need better prevention in two ways
better vetting/licensing of gun owners, particularly new ones, some how, and reliably
better airport grade security tactics in Middle America.
because that's who's getting shot up
I wonder if there are any states that have a disproportionate amount of mass shootings?
not a wonderful thing to think about on a Sunday morning. Like Ken, headed outside.
