Got gasket sealer on OHV covers of husqvarna. Found I had a tube from rebuilding the transmission. Did return with Amazon for new tube I ordered, they credited me and said don’t even send it back.
Getting mower out of shed , I always look up.

Checked the RTV x1100 for service requirements and discovered that there is a 400 hour difference in the hour counter between when it is running and when it is off but with the key turned. First time I have seen anything like that.
We've had some memorable threads concerning "hours" on a tractor.
Some tractors the hours tick off whenever the key is in the ignition and just turned on, even if the engine is not running.
Some tick off whenever the engine is running.
Some tick off depending on the engine speed. You can idle for hours realtime with little change on the meter, but when you get up to "pto speed" they start counting.
And of course there are many older tractors where the hour meter is broken.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 1.6C and it's presently 6.8C, hazy with a gentle breeze.

Fortunately, the coronation was on at a very decent hour down here so I was able to watch the whole event. I toddled off to bed at around 2230, as they were making their way home.

Well, I'm off to Church in about half an hour and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

Wasn't quite this morning but after pulled stumps at my dad's I had a couple to do at the house. One came out with no problem.

Other one did not want to give up the ghost.

Had to cheat and hook the truck up to it. I was expecting a tap root from hell but nope, just didn't want to cooperate

Morning all, 52 going up to 70 and sunny.

Alien - good to see you back and sorry to hear about your ailments. How are your hands doing, did the operations help?

Be well,
Yes Ken. Hands are somewhat improved. No more numbness and thumb doesn't lock up anymore. It took several ops and countless needles to get to where I am and I don't really want to go through it all again.
A friend of mine (female about 40 years) just had a spinal op like I need. They put some screws in and wound wire around them and filled the middle with some synthetic that grows and becomes part of the vertabrae somehow. Dr said she should be good forever from now on. She is feeling much better after just a few weeks.

The excavator can grip the poles and hold them vertical to set them into the holes based on the test I did today. The problem was that the thumb was scaring the wood pole pretty bad and going easier it lost the grip so gave up on that idea. I did not want to shorten the poles after setting them. So back to manual and I set 5 poles today by using mostly left hand with minimum support from the right. Still need to tamp the dirt better with flat end of digging bar

Also worked on the ledge at the pond now that I had taken the excavator out of the barn. Changed the slope down to the pond to create a ledge wide enough for the RTV and tractor. Did about a 100 ft stretch until I ran into wet clay. So will wait for that to dry out to make more progress. Will also pile dirt up to be able to reach an area that I want to dig out and increase the size of the pond. And then dig up the run way as I back out.

Daughter surprised us and showed up with Brisket and cheese, liquorice, sausages etc from her travels to Europe. We had a good time. Being a conference panel moderator this week went really well for her and she is attending another conference next week for her department.

Newbury thanks for your comment on the hour meter. I think the 300 hour when the key is turned may be more accurate but who knows so I will plan to do the full 400 hour service. Just don't think It went up 400 hours in a year since I don't use it that much.

Joel I dig deeper when encountering a stump not budging and none have defeated me yet.

David that second picture looks good

How are we to know how much we load the FEL anyway. I fill the 72 inch bucket with top on it with wet clay. I am sure it is way overloaded compared to actual rating? Something tells me when there is bounce in the FEL while driving it is loaded

The King is crowned.

And I stayed up and watched the 1st couple hours drastically reducing my sleep time.

68°F and .32 inches rain.

Shot arm a bit sore this morning and a slight headache, but that could be from poor sleep night.

Only focus today is my gate fix. Just practice, practice, practice until I feel I can do a functional fix. Weather dependent of course.

May take a time out for running of the Roses, if I remember.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
Probably too late to help, but pharmacist told me if I got those symptoms from the booster to drink a bottle of water as quick as I could get it down And take two Tylenol, which never help me. The next morning, i had a headache and sore arm. Did as he said and within a half hour headache was gone and arm was much better
