52 going to 81...wore shorts and t-shirt to feed the birds and take the flag out at dawn and nearly froze.

Help Mrs. finish plant rest of rose bushes and flowers,now she like to do another area.

That welding repair looks good, good penetration. Was it stick welding or wire welding and how high was the heat setting?

I was always trying to get our sons involved in the shop and repair activities but no such luck. A couple of the girls were much more involved in repairs

My boys are pretty capable, my daughter is a nurse, but does her own oils changes, headlights, etc. She installed a remote starter on her RAV 4 as well.

Great to have the kids get involved and grow up and get skills they can use.

One daughter after just getting her license hit the curb and damaged the front suspension on the Subaru Impressa we gave her to use. So I made her fix it herself under my supervision. Something she will never forget. The attachment points were pushed into the body and had to be pulled out with chain falls and sundry parts replaced. She talks about it with her friends with pride now although at the time she was not too happy

RNG, boxes are about 8 ft apart, no attempt to not leak except between living room and garage boxes where the overlap is full distance.

One of my disappointments not getting our son interested in being a hands-on type.

my boys not very hands on either, they were always more interested in video games although we tried to steer them away. Both are Eagle Scouts, so they have been exposed to a lot of different things, which is the purpose of the merit badges. My oldest says he wants to live where he doesn't have to use a tractor, and I reply I live where I do so I can. Don't know what I did wrong. But they are good, well behaved kids, so did something right.

Just discovered tomato clips and ordered some on amazon. Now I'm thinking of using cattle panels or maybe some of my spare fence wire to make trellis for the tomatoes. One youtube video, they took long cattle panels and made an arch for the tomatoes to grow on. That looks interesting. Need to do it soon, tomatoes need planted tomorrow.

My Dad wanted me to become an insurance/brokerage agent and take over His very successful business and instead I became a psychologist, but he came to the realization that his "values" and thanks to him and my Mom's my values were similar. You both helped your kids by being real and genuine..... They have the "tools" if they choose to use them.
