Are there any mechanics that work on foton tractors near Cleveland Ohio I'm having fuel problems and can't figure it out I'm getting fuel to the hand pump then to the filter then thru ip .disconnect at every point while I use the hand pump then reconnect. The rubber line from filter to injection pump shows decent fuel to start then fizzles out to foam and air bubbles would it make a difference I'm using a fuel filter from napa

Any chance you can post a picture of the fuel system.?

Filter brand shouldn't make any difference at all as it is on the pressure side of the lift/priming pump. You are sucking air on the upstream side of the lift/priming pump. It's likely you have a restriction between the tank and the lift/priming pump. Check the small screens and check valves in the lift/priming pump and the sediment bowl and seal (if equipped), and the tank valve.

When u installed the NAPA filter, did u put the top oring on the filter..??
Or UP IN the filter head.??
It must go UP IN THE FILTER HEAD.. NOT ON the filter..

The NAPA filter is the secondary filter. If it was installed incorrectly there would be fuel all over it when the priming pump was operated. The joke primary "filter" is a small nylon screen in the banjo fitting of the lift/priming pump.

Air could be leaking in around the hand pump plunger. I don't remember for sure but I think it just an O-ring.

What does the sediment bowl look like. Some of them have fine screens in the top above the bowl and you have to take them out to clean it.
Some tanks have finger screens in them as well as the finger screen in the banjo fitting at the lift pump inlet.

If you have this type of plastic fuel line, it could be the source of an air leak.

Lift pump assembly. The priming pump can go on either side. The two white things with spring are the check valves that make the pump work. The round black cylinder in the center is the lift pump plunger.
