$30K for economy L series with 25hp???
Kubota is pricing themselves out of the market.

I just picked this BRAND NEW, 48hp, 7,000lbs with loader and ballast CAB tractor, with 2,700lbs loader lift capacity and 6 year warranty for $29,500!

Not as much as you would think. It's not like everyone gets 0% and it is like any other marketing cost. They choose that way to market. For those who qualify, it is a good deal. They price high because people pay it. Valid, or not, JD and Kubota have a reputation. That yields sales that are not necessarily rational, but it works for them. Both big brands used to be discount brands...in JDs case it was a lot longer in the past. Once people catch on that most brands are good, sales will expand for them. Bigger sales yield larger networks and one or more of the Korean brands will be among the leaders.

I would not run away from a tym, but it is a consumer range tractor Imo. As far as people paying msrp, sure, probably happens and thats on them. I always get a deep discount on my kubotas.
Msrp on my u48-5 was like $87k, i paid $70500.

This is going to one of my businesses for snow removal, I had it delivered at home, so I can run it thru its paces and make sure everything is tight.

Kubota is a proven commercial grade equipment maker, construction or ag. Ag is commercial. Not sure I would rely on tym/rrk for business purposes…hence consumer grade, and priced.

The TYM T474 is right at $25K around here. 25hp v 48hp in the same price range not even getting into other specs like weight and loader capacity. No they’re obviously 2 different tractor ranges. It’s like comparing a kx033 to kx057. But it’s also akin to comparing a sany to a kubota.

Yes, paint. Their Ag stuff is not the same quality as their construction stuff but they paint them the same. At least JD paints them differently. Not saying they make junk, but you maybe need to get out there and honestly look at the current competition. I spent 2 years pouring over every offering out there. I don't need construction equipment, but for the price Kubota CUT is no more a construction vehicle than any other offering out there.

I know lots of farmers running Kubota tractors commercially. I know sod guys who run smaller kubota tractors. Good stuff. I will eventually get an m6 myself. If you dislike Kubota why torture yourself by hanging out in the kubota forum?

Don't dislike Kubota, just overpriced for what you get.

Using your definition of commercial, every farmer who sells products is commercial. So your claim about Kubota being 'commercial' grade versus consumer grade doesn't make sense. Kubota does have Kubota commercial tractors, but they are heavier duty than the CUT (like the 2502 mentioned above) and priced accordingly...like the OP I got way more tractor for my money.

Not hanging out here, just saw a post on the main page and read it. Once I read it, I saw the OP ended up getting a TYM.

I cancelled my last order in January. Keep what I already got and now I just buy antiques and am having more fun running them.

No one is being forced to buy any tractor, regardless of what color they are. They will either sell or not.
