The OP's new tractor will be used for snow removal and has R4 tires, which are not good winter tires. Will he get a tire groover and groove them like other people have done? It looks like there is limited room between the tires and fenders for chains so is studs in order?

I've done snow removal all my life with R4s, they work good for that, plus machine will be over 7,000lbs with the pusher. Should work OK.

It could be helpful if you could post how you plan to work with your new machine so far as snow removal is concerned and what implements you'll be using with it. There's another member asking questions about upgrading his 25-26hp tractor, and your thoughts would probably help him.

I use a Kubota L4060 with R4's for snow removal. It's slightly less HP, but similar in operating weight. I cut my tires to increase snow traction several years ago, and have never had a problem plowing without chains on a variety of surfaces and inclines.
Weight is king for snow removal.
On the subject of pricing, I agree that Kubota is pricing themselves out of the market. My last ZD mower was $16.5k three years ago.... They're 21k now, (27% increase) which is too rich for my blood no matter how good they are.

I remove snow from tight drives, (storage unit complex and car dealership) so I can't push it, I have to lift it off and remove it, or else I will block off the drives.
I have a 96" light material bucket that works great for that. I would guess weight of bucket + snow is 1,400-1,800 pounds, depending how wet the snow is and how full the bucket is. I fill bucket and empty in water retention pond.
My old tractor, Kubota L3700SU has been great, however this was too much weight for it, plus I am getting older and would like a cab for snow removal. The only reason the Kubota was able to handle this job (barely) was bumped up hydraulic pressure (2,650psi) and 1,500lbs ballast on the 3 point.
I absolutely love my old tractor, and love the brand (Kubota), but the cab tractors with the 2,000+ lift capacity loaders were over $50,000. The dealer I bought the TYM from is also a Kubota dealer, and he had a new L4760 cab in stock (1055 loader), which is exactly what I wanted, but was over $50,000.
As much as I wanted a Kubota, TYM was priced almost HALF of what Kubota wanted, came with more warranty and lots of features which were options on the Kubota.
Also the TYM has the only fully mechanical engine (no electronics), at this HP range, so if I had issues with DPF down the road, I can remove it, and the engine won't even know its missing.

Hold on, what do mean remove dpf because no electronics? Very curious. How is there no tethered electronics to the dpf? How would it regen… is this an engine through pressure and heat that does not require a dpf like the masseys and jcb’s use. I think mahindra does to.

It doesn't shut everything down if the regen doesn't go. It still has indicator lights and you can still regen. There is a filter but since it doesn't shut the tractor down if there is a sensor failure, a person could theoretically remove the dpf. Of course, that would be illegal and probably set off a world wide calamity of some sort.

Problem with Branson and Tym here are all the dealers were here one week, gone the next and now no more. Otherwise I'd love to have a tractor like that.
But now I'll just keep playing with my antiques. I can plow in the warm cab of my RTV or put on my Tough Duck's when I need to snow blow with the tractors. LOL

Some day I hope to visit your country. Maybe after your next election. I have been close a number of times...on a boat in Niagara...I could have jumped out and landed in Canada. Alas, they had just added the passport rules and we had none at the time.

Whoa, a new 4820C for under 30 grand? Thats a s%^& load of tractor for the money.
