Where is this dealer located?
A couple old sayings come to mind: "No one washes a rental car." "He beat me like a rented mule." I think the implications are clear . . .
You said that when you purchased the tractor it was "out on rental". That's not a new tractor -- That's a used rental unit. Not even a DEMO unit -- it's a rental unit.
It's hard to understand how you and salesperson could strike a deal and finalize a sale without discussing when it would be delivered to you. Did you mention that you'd need to do a final inspection or have it checked out when it came back from this current rental duty?
Seems like there must be more to this story. I can't believe that any reputable new equipment dealer would take the position that they could rent YOUR equipment and leave you hanging like this. I'd like to hear the dealer's side of this story. What exactly are they saying to explain this situation?
