Is that a question.??

Or “sit tight”..
What the he!! is that supposed to mean.?!!

Sit tight is a polite way to say "we ran out of toilet paper".

Mine is when the National weather folks have to tell me how many millions are going to get rained on, or are under severe weather warnings or will be freezing next weekend.

When it comes to pet peeves regarding speech patterns, I guess I can't be the only husband whose wife will spend painful long minutes describing useless background content to a story, and then skip through the important bit very quickly, just as you got bored enough to stop following the story?

My wife, and I love her dearly, all the time I ask her a question and get this long spiel. Now I say "yes or no"...2 or 3 letters.
Sometimes I think she has Hank Kimball's brain!

I've got a friend who has to tell everything he can remember about everything. No matter the subject. It gets long and tiresome listening about so much unrequested information. I have to excuse myself to make it stop. Well, I gotta go ~ I've got such and such to do.
