Odd that they loaded the container doors forward.
Every one I've seen on I-5 are doors rear.

I don't see crash damage on the front of the tractor so just braking might have done that.

I wonder if that block was put in on rollers, that are still under it. How else could it have been loaded.

Not unusual. It depends upon the final delivery point. Sometimes the container is placed against a wall in the back during delivery and the doors must face front.

Same here. Only way I have seen them on flatbeds. Of course if they are completely tarped, then no way to even know they are there much less which orientation...
Here in Europe they sell coil trailers, curtainsiders with a coil trench between the chassis rails. One has to bump it 6 to 8 inches over the front crossmember to have it end up in the cab.
