got a few hairs cut, then went to Buckingham Friends School and flew my drone before the event started and too many little kids there.
pretty dreary out, hopefully more sunshine later
I snagged some home made bakery goods and an expensive wreath for the house.
60 dollar wreath. I handed her two fifties and said no change, school board pays more.
They all laughed and really appreciated it.
important to be visible and supportive of these volunteers.
place is still all ripped up from construction, new gym and science building going up now.
Ron, that was the coolest bridge I ever saw.

Been to Northland and met the owner a few years back with my son.
Quite the collection, and he keeps adding on, though some areas looked like they could use some TLC.
Worth a trip.

68°F and .04 inches rain. Sun forecast for about 10am
Need to fuss with my backup generator settings. Working well except not terminating until full charge. I much prefer shorter runs, even if multiple. If I can get a 50% charge that carries me until the sun comes out that would be great. Currently a generator run is around 3 hours, 1.5 -2 gal gas @ $5g. But the worst part is if batteries are full at sunrise then not only am I wasting gas to do so, but system can’t take advantage of the sun.
Need to start thinking about starting another round of mowing once it dries out.

went to order a new set of Bosch 20CA wipers for rv.
bought 2 for 10.99 each in April of this year.
now 15 bucks a piece. Wow.
in researching alternatives I got a chuckle out of this

Went to auto zone and asked about wipers for the wife's 2021 Ram truck.... $51 out the door

those wiper blades are six month old Bosch wipers, I bet I could use a certain cleanser on them to clean off the road oil or whatever is making them chatter.
But having a non squeaking wiper is so wonderful really don't mind the price
did something I've never done before
decorated the rv for Christmas, happily up on blocks and now sporting
its new wheel storage covers.

geez that was a gunky mess in the hot water heater.
the worst is where the old anode was really eaten up
I tried to clean it, finally resorted to carefully swiping a round file through that mess, not even to get to the bottom,
but enough to clean it out a little. New anode put back in, ready for the Spring.
second pic is before, not like after is much of an improvement.
I really wanted a bottle brush and a gallon sprayer of water
now looking at this pic, next trip out will clean off that rust ring and wipe some oil on it
