Thank you. I can’t find my better photos of the wheel broken off last time but here are a few of it from some photos I had when my wife was working on it.
Yes, that front wheel and tire are both mounted correctly. I've got an old Yanmar glossy advertising brochure and it shows that orientation.
That loader in your photo is also the top of the line Yanmar quick attach loader made specifically for that model Yanmar.
That loader style was good but heavy and not all that common - it was an expensive accessory at the time. That model loader is completely rebuildable including bushings.
So all in all, that is a real nice tractor. Sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the front axle.
Is there any chance you are asking too much of the loader lift? Or did it break in "normal" service?
Is the power steering working well?
Those axles are usually pretty strong.
Now that I think on it, I vaguely recall seeing some old factory techi nfo about that model and the front axle spindle. So maybe Yanmar did design it too lightly. Normally when that happened in the old Yanmar days there was a recall program and improved parts - all of which got a lot of documentation.
I'll look around and see if I can find any references in my old literature.
