how sharp is the corner that it's breaking on?
There is nothing touching where it snaps off except an the axel seal wear color which I have pressed on at a local machine shop before I do the install.

Would you please specify? I guess I don’t understand. Turning radius? Corner of the broken part? I’m not sure what you are asking.

From what I can tell they appear to be installed properly. Or at least when repairing the stubs the parts are all in line with the diagrams I have found on hoye. What would I look for if a prior owner had modified it?
The rim in the pic is showing the face of the rim that points out which positions the wheel over the axle. Owners sometimes flip the rims around to widen the stance but that's not fun for the stub's if the bucket is heavily loaded.

Both rear wheels will spin if differential lock is pressed. If not, wheel with least resistance will spin. Front wheels will both spin if on equal traction, if not, the one with least resistance will.

Thank you. I can’t find my better photos of the wheel broken off last time but here are a few of it from some photos I had when my wife was working on it.

Looks to be faced correctly....

looking at the bad wheel the top of the tire looks to be leaning in and Pointing out. Bet the other front wheel is point staight level. Likely not all that bad of a repair. Hoye may have and upgrade on the axel if that is the problem this time?

Yes, that front wheel and tire are both mounted correctly. I've got an old Yanmar glossy advertising brochure and it shows that orientation.

That loader in your photo is also the top of the line Yanmar quick attach loader made specifically for that model Yanmar.
That loader style was good but heavy and not all that common - it was an expensive accessory at the time. That model loader is completely rebuildable including bushings.

So all in all, that is a real nice tractor. Sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the front axle.
Is there any chance you are asking too much of the loader lift? Or did it break in "normal" service?
Is the power steering working well?
Those axles are usually pretty strong.

Now that I think on it, I vaguely recall seeing some old factory techi nfo about that model and the front axle spindle. So maybe Yanmar did design it too lightly. Normally when that happened in the old Yanmar days there was a recall program and improved parts - all of which got a lot of documentation.

I'll look around and see if I can find any references in my old literature.

OK.I found one note saying a heavy duty wheel spindle kit was available for the YM330D and YM336D.
The HD kit had a larger shaft, thicker wheel flange, larger bearings and seals, and improved locknut (inside). th

So far all I see are prices for the larger YM330/336 Front Spindle Kit # 794171-14 100-X
THAT KIT NUMBER WILL NOT FIT YOUR YM276D. I'll keep looking.

There is a hand written note with prices $601 & $1038.. my guess is that is dealer pricing and for one side vs both sides.
Interesting that the locknut is also improved. D\
Was your internal lockneut loose where it holds the output ring gear onto the asle spindle shaft?
