Watched Iron Sky last night. Mild scifi action film with racial humor. It was okay. Entertaining but not a must see.

The first 2/3rds is great. Perhaps I understood much of the innuendo and inside jokes?

Same group did a prequel in recent years which was pretty poor, putting the franchise to an end.
Is my understanding before Iron Sky they most of the group was big into Star Trek fan fiction.

It’s not a bad movie but once you see the original Stagecoach, the rest are just copies.

This weekend we had a freebie dish movie. We started to watch the Barbie move…..after about 20 minutes we TURNED it off. We can’t believe it earned one billion dollars!

Amen. Sometimes I wonder about our society...there are very, very few recent movies I would enjoy watching; the rest...I don't understand why ANYONE would watch them and I can't understand why they are so popular with the public.

Those of us in our seventies often start sounding like our parents or even our grandparents.
This is a young woman from the Old World explaining how times are changing.
Being 72 and the kids being 26 has lead me to watch the movies that appeal to their generation. 20 years ago I realized they came into this world understanding more about life than I did. I had thought kids were born as blank slates not comlete with their own consciousness and knowing.
We old people struggle to realize that kids come with with their own programming that we need to understand it before we start programming them the way we were programmed.

Yes. It is excellent.
Based on the Harry Bosch novels which are fantastic. Michael Connelly is the best writer.
They continued the series with Bosch:Legacy. 2 seasons already.
