I had 5-6" of heavy soggy wet snow on completely thawed ground, took a few hours to kind of clear pushing the back blade with it backwards, got most of it without digging into the driveway much.

It cleans up halfway decently doing so.

Lou, glad I'm not pushing snow. Although when I did go out to clean up some of the last snow, I did enjoy the tractor time.
Don't even watch the NFL anymore, definitely won't watch Swifty.

41 ° out, overcast day.
Son drove to the bank, so wife and I rode along, ate lunch at Mission BBQ.
Got my car insurance bill for next year, LARGE increase. They still got one listed as "Drive to work" category. I called them when I retired a year ago, and told them I retired in 2022 and no one else here drives to work. Looked at last years bill, they still had it as a work vehicle also... Also noticed they only allow 8K miles a year as recreational use, most of mine go over that.
Cats are sleeping, pellet stove humming along. Paid some bills.
Got a whole bunch of pictures from the lot today with nothing in them, usually a sign it's windy there.
Retirement is hard work, I need a vacation.

It's currently 77º outside and inside Just came in from mowing the lower field today Jan 29th.
Preheating the oven for a Salmon late lunch. Semi retirement keeps me busy.

Been busy day got everything done except pulling snow from house roof,in which Mrs. forbid me to do...I do roof Wednesday while she at work.

Plans for the evening feet up watch some YT,going to be early pillow time.

Oddly it's much safer to do that work when somebody is home in case... you can't dial 911. Stay safe

We don’t have any Super Bowl trips scheduled for this year, but have done many in the past. I’ve often been offered tickets to the game, which I have always politely declined, as I’m not much of a sports fan.
But you could easily add $50k or more to that price if you travelled there by private jet.

Good Evening Guys,
Nice day in south Florida, but cool with a breeze ! We still managed to go for a long walk up into Bica Raton, saw some very expensive homes, and it didn’t take much for me to realize that I was a long long way from my house up in the mountains of East Wells, Vermont !

A couple of pictures of homes along the inter coastal , folks down here sure have a lot of money !

Drew, I have driven trucks with drop chains, they are only good in a couple inches of snow or so !
