Is this a Fordson? Or a Doodlebug?
Most tractors, even modern ones have a unsprung pivot on the front axle that allows the wheels to follow the ground contour. Rear axles are solid with the transmission/differential.
My 1926 Model T Ford had a type of aftermarket spring shock absorbers on it, but without the oil part that modern cars have.
