I have been rebuilding my old John deer disk, I order all new disk for the front and some scrapers for a totals of $1800.... took it apart but one side was seized right up so I brought it to a welding shop, they broke a few spacers and I saw that a few bearings were busted so order that for a other $1800 ... in a way I am glad I still can get parts for it but I am also wondering if I should've just bought a new one....

now I have to find part to rebuilt my old Massey Ferguson sickle mower or just buy a new one :rolleyes:

I have to ask, what did the PoPo do or say to you?
They axed me a few questions.
Told them the situation. They took notes.
Pretty much told me to smarten up with what I say.
It's hard to get the local fuzz to come out to serious situations talk about the nonsense/nuisance calls.
He told me they initially responded thinking it was a theft report.

Have you seen the price of new ones.
A set of 12' wheel discs here is approaching $20K.
I don't bother with scrapers, they only come into play if the ground is too wet.
Bearings aren't all that bad.
Sounds like your dealer is pretty pricy.

It’s been 20 years since a root canal but I can still remember that sawing sound. 😵‍💫
I had it done in the chair.
One week one side and then the other the next.
First side was easy.
Shot/5 minutes to take effect/20 minutes for both extractions/out the door in less than an hour.
Other side...
The top one was a repeat of the first 2.
The bottom one was badly impacted.
You know you're in trouble when the assistant has that look in her eye.
Then he started cancelling appointments.
Hammer and chisel went to work. Pulling splinters with plyers.
Pain killer wearing off.
Finally, over 2 hours later it was done.
I was scheduled to go to work that evening.
I missed the next 2 shifts.
Actually my jaw joint hurt worse than the tooth.
Took a good two weeks to get over it.

right on that makes me feel better, mine is a 10' the bearing was $120 a piece, cast iron disk spaces $310 for the long ones and $470 for the short one (between the bearings)... I guess I should've not bother with the scraper and I got a few scraper arms that where very expensive, I can't recall the price for each disk. I am at $5000 invested in this one now.

That sounds like an extraction, not a root canal. I had a wisdom tooth removed with what looked like stainless steel pliers and I had pizza that night.

Root canal, the drill hole in the crown of your tooth, excavate the pulp out of the root, file it clean inside, pack the canals with material, and top it off with a filling. You get to keep your tooth in your mouth.

New Hoses and fittings to get the pieced together TLB Hydraulic thumb working Hoses fittings were ~$450 yep overpaid but Gates Parker

Bought a new 1" pin today I got physical grabbing and moving some large logs and managed to do this on the first day...

Going to have to remember only final close with the thumb , not the main backhoe cylinder. Tree took a fence down so it got pressed into action before I built and added spacers for the thumb cylinder pin

Bought and picked up a lane shark yesterday, had the C-Flow kit installed.
Sure looked good, but it lasted about 10 minutes before the pump apparently let go.
It's currently a spendy green paperweight.
They'll come pick it up Tuesday, but we had plans for it all this long weekend!

Man don't you hate equipment failure, especially new equipment, when you have work to get done.

As a property manager I was threatened that I'm a dead man and I won't see it coming and to say my goodbyes.

Immediately went to the desk of the Oakland police department to file a report with the renters file in hand... date of birth, name, past addresses, etc.

Officer refused to take report saying freedom of speech so no crime committed.

It was eye opening for me learning in my city threats of death mean nothing to law enforcement.

The man that made the threat died from an overdose a few months later...

Me, I would have just shot him but I do admire your methods. Accidental death

It sounded to me like a death threat of which I believe
is not called freedon of speech. Cop didn't want to mess
with the paper work just plain lazy.

2 months of Testosterone injections for $68.
If those don't work you can buy a really large, loud and lifted truck and drive right on women's bumper!

Don't know if it works but plenty of guys are trying it now
