Good morning!!!!

as expected the rv jack stabilizer company said my only option was to buy entire unit.
475 dollars later, I ordered one. Will ask Popgadget to install it for me, looks fairly simple and it's very
accessible.
will be interesting to take old one apart and see if simple seal replacement will fix it.
no overhaul kits available...
considering the system is 3500 new for four rams and pump controller, seemed like a reasonable charge. What is not reasonable is it failing after
five years. I hope to come out of this with a spare. Which is good because it appears all four are identical.

got all my donated bulbs and plants dug, not easy to do in area with lot of gravel and roots, planting auger on Makita drill would catch
on a root and really yank on my wrists. But got it done, watered everything

might need to check on bush beans

and i bet lurking down there, successfully hiding out of sight, will be my first cuke.

Would think it uses pretty available seals, taking it apart would be interesting.
See quite a few people complaining on popping when temp changes a lot, but not squealing.

needed to buy more oil for rv, instead of driving out in heat, found it cheapest at Walmart and they deliver in two days for free.
Amazon was out of it, something about dumping that supplier due to some alleged unhappiness.
This will help Mrs Walton, of Walmart, the many Mrs Waltons, put diesel in their megayachts.

so i ordered three 5 quart jugs and probably saved five bucks in gasoline by not driving.
specified oil is Motocraft semi synthetic 5W30
latest versions of this engine I think have gone to 5W20 and I think it's interesting they spec semi synthetic.
normally I would buy full synthetic but makes no difference to me, gets changed at 5000 miles no matter what.

last time I bought oil filters I bought a pack of four so good on that. And I have a new oil drain plug.
want to stock up on enough oil to change during trip, either in Colorado or Texas. Problem is almost all campgrounds forbid doing mechanical work.
Reminds me, need to pack a few oil diapers along with the oil and don't forget the oil filter wrench.
Don't forget the bucket to catch the oil. Or a sandy ditch that is easy to get into and out of. OOPS, this is 2024 not 1950s. :(

When I in Dallas on one trip. RV park had a service that would come in and service your vehicle at your camp site.

BEF, I guess in your part of the country it is not illegal to back onto a thoroughfare/road?
We have a saying that I stole from Alberta when I worked there; the mail lady couldn't drive a sharp stick up a dead dogs a$$.
She drove straight in, so why couldn't she back straight out? The post master needs to see that video.
If she could have backed up straight, I have a turn area to the right, that goes to my barn. If she could have backed out a little further, she could have backed into neighbors drive before heading out to the road.
I back my camper and trailers up without driving thru the flowers.

North Bay, ON - 7 Day Forecast - Environment Canada
and this warning
9:41 AM EDT Thursday 13 June 2024

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Hazards:Strong winds gusts up to 90 km/hour is 55 mph. Nickel to toonie ($2.oo coin) size hail. Risk of a tornado.
Timing:This afternoon and early this evening.

Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Water-related activities may be unsafe due to violent and sudden gusts of wind over bodies of water. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm.

I think I will hide inside. Genny is full of fuel.

We have similar warnings here now for tomorrow, and it's going to be a heat wave after.
What are y'all doing up there sharing weather like that, :)

my regular barber is out for some procedure and the owner of the salon
will cut my hair next week. She already cuts my brothers hair. Nice, you get in and out.
25 bucks originally, they never asked for more, I gave 35 each time and now have gone up to 40.
only because I have few other local choices.
It only takes them ten minutes and they stretch it to 15 to be social. In other words, for the last five minutes I think
he just fiddles with my hair, fussing with ends.
I'm not that fussy at all...not much hair left anymore.

I read the material on hearing aids this ENT sent me home with, that I'm seeing next week.
cheapo one starts at 1200 and goes up to better and best quickly, 3200 for top model.
I wonder what price is if I want only one...my other ear is fine. I need something on the larger side, if only to make
it easy to put on. I'm not looking to hide it. I'm more worried about it falling off and losing it.
Will only wear it in restaurants usually anyway. I'll keep wearing my sound cancelling headphones
while driving, which work great. Except they time out every hour and I have to turn them back on.

I have tried Sony in ear noise cancelling headphones and they kept falling out. I think I need an over the ear one.

definitely warm weather coming, day after day in mid 90's.

and while a little rain one day in forecast, very dry and hot.

means lots of watering.

Don, any new veggie pics? Do you have time this year to do that?

Interesting, for $3700 plus installation I could buy a system for mine. Just a hydraulic cyclinder. Maybe it needs air purge? Did they mention that? The manual has a purge section, which will have to be done after installing new cylinder. Where does your pump and tank sit in the RV? maybe low on fluid?
