Mine had nearly 4000 miles on it now.

There's actually 2 pipes up there. One of the things Can-am could have done better(at least on this particular year/model) is the location of the OEM air intakes. Both intakes (belt and engine air) are under the bed of the unit. Here in the desert, this time of year a lot of the roads and trails develop silt beds - very deep, very fine dust. All that dust kicked up by the tires gets sucked into the belt chamber and the air filter housing - it can completely plug up an air filter in 20 miles of driving. Can-am sells "snorkel" kits that move the air intakes up high - but they are super expensive and obstruct the view through the rear view mirror. So I made my own "snorkel" kit using 2" ABS pipe. Only cost a few bucks and now both air intakes breathe from the top of the windshield. Since I made this mod I've not had to clean out either the belt chamber or the air filter. It may look weird...but I don't care!

It makes perfect sense - adapt to your environment! Plus it works and looks fine in my opinion.

I believe they have moved them some over the years. I recall the dealer saying that an intake relocation kit is now standard on the 2024 limited (not sure what the difference is, however).

Finally got to a a short hilly trail and small field on my property up north this older 50" atv pull behind finish mower did pretty good and much better than using my old bar tired JD 212, even though I had to go over certain areas 2x.

Lost power today so hauled several hundred feet to house with My step sons lil grizz 350, my free used and abused Honda Gen set with backwoods hacked atv pin coupler/ extended tongue. After purchase and install of a super cheap wheel kit yrs ago. Note to self, make the tongue longer next time.

In 2006 I bought the JD utv 4x4 diesel with dump box. We don't use it often but think it a great machine that has been trouble free and still looks almost new as it lives in the shop on concrete. We run a 40 gal sprayer, haul firewood, take the garbage and recyle containers about 1/2 mile to the road, move trailers around, fill with gravel for driveway work and just whatever. Yes it's noisy but sips fuel, amazing how long one tank of diesel lasts.

Good setup. We're looking to build an utility trailer for the Honda Pioneer to carry logs and water. Will just finish brake job and mounting the new tires from 4Wheelonline onto the SXS and will start the trailer project.

Unsure what to call this maybe an overpriced Chinese children's novelty, but it's doing work with a 6 yr old and a backwoods hacked old milk crate found in the woods my hack cost me a few zip tyes to mount and a can of berry pink spray paint to match, Next it is a Yamaha 350 grizz hauling a homemade roadside cart with repurposed running gear from a old steel pull behind garden cart. Side note my cheap deer deterrent Cologne hack isn't working like it used to.
