Thanks, When I had oil fired hot water heat with heat exchangers in my air handlers, I had them zoned, but could never get the valves to work right. I ended up leaving them open and just flowed the water thru both zones all the time. Still got that stuff in the basement ceiling.I’ve got a total of 7 loops plus a baseboard that I’m putting in the boiler room. My “great room” has 4 loops, so I put them all into the top manifold, and will put a zone valve controlling the flow to that manifold.
The lower manifold has the bedroom using two loops, the bathroom uses one and the base board will use one. They will have zone actuators mounted on the manifold to control them.
If I wasn’t zoning I would have used a single 8 port manifold rather than 2- 4’s.
sorry about Rigby. Glad you knew what was wrong. That's a great pix-- thanks!
Friday was interesting. Early am, noticed the irrigation vacuum breaker had sprung a substantial leak. Never ever before had one fail-- but oh well. Drove to HD, bought a replacement (Febco) unit, and installed it. New unit was defective-- water blew out the side port. Drove back and exchanged for another new (Febco) unit. 2nd unit was worse-- water blew out of every port. (???) Returned it for refund. Drove to plumbing supply house, bought a Zurn/Wilkins brand, installed it, and it works fine. Honestly-- ???
Just finished that, and I hear new pup Rigby screaming with wife holding him. Oh no. Off to Vet emergency-- they removed 3 foxtails from his ear. One punctured the eardrum but that will heal in a week. After that he will be back to 100%. He's on antibiotics "just in case." Quite a Friday.
Spent Sat/Sun building a temporary fence around the back lawn to keep him out of the pasture. It's good sized with all his toys inside-- so it should be a safe and fun place to be. No more vet trips!!
Here's the little guy in the vet office ...
Everyone have a great day !!!

Glad here too, had to look up foxtails.Had to lookup Foxtails. Poor Rigby, get betta soon.
Thankful for healing and remember your strife well. Glad you're back in shape. I would highly recommend you go with your son to court. It makes an impression on the judge to see a parent there. Also, you can help your son, to remind him of points to be considered. Have him draw it up for practice on a white board, and maybe the judge will let him do that in the courtroom. As smart as my son is, he couldn't debate his way out of wet toilet paper.I did sausage and pancakes on the blackstone July 5, 2019. The next day I came down with GBS. Maybe it was my cooking? This week is 5 yr anniversary of that nightmare of 2 months in the hospital unable to walk.
My youngest son goes to court this week to fight the ticket he got after his accident. I printed several pictures I took from the scene, which indicate my son traveled approx 40 ft after impact, and the other person ended up over 200 ft down the road after impact, yet my son got charged with failure to reduce speed.

Plow coulters don't do blades any good either. I got one the first time I ran my brand new Z-turn. Bent the spindle AND the blade.Don't hit pipe with a mower...View attachment 878218
