No I picked it up at a government surplus auction, I never have had any luck at the Weeks auction in Ocala, but I have bought from the Weeks auction in Moultrie Georgia.

I've heard 'rumors' that Weeks employees or family of employees will bid on things that they have inside info on. IE, it just needs a starter, and listed on the "non running" line. Even with a fairly detailed inspection, your not going to offer much for that, but with the inside info, they will snag it up. Not making accusations, just what I've heard from several people would attend. I did throw some low ball bids on a 2 bottom plow, and a 6 ft bushhog; as well as a cut down JD cultivator; but when you figure the trouble in picking up, fuel, buyers fees, I wasn't going to compete.

Not to get side tracked, or hijack the thread; but here are two of the items I screen shot because I thought they went crazy. A fold out, Amazon box style 'ADU' for $15k and a worn out, beat up, non-running, trackless, bucketless, Kubota tracked skid that went for $11,250. There was a early 2000s Kubota 35hp turf tractor that ran, and went for $2750 though (no loader, 2wd).

Had a couple of driveways to spread some rock in, one of these I did last year but the customer recently had a tree company come in with a crane and they did a number on it, the other one was his next door neighbor that wanted rock installed and spread under his small carport and all the way back to the road, sorry I forgot to take before pictures of the work.

I don't generally spray anything other than weed and vine killer in fence rows, I have on two different occasions seen a whole tree line of massive oak trees killed by people practicing with chemicals that they didn't know anything about and spraying it in the drip line of those big trees.
Foliar exposure due to wind drift by some chemicals can also kill trees (unintentionally).
Be careful.
I have seen this. Oaks or maples killed or severely damaged from 60 ft away. Gardens killed same distance. Lots of things drift if sprayed with the wrong atmospheric or wind conditions. Some drift more in rain. Certain chemicals very prone to drift.

Today's job, customer wanted underbrush gone and pine trees left and that's what I did, this is an unusual situation the man doesn't hardly want any trees cut and the lady stops me and tells me to cut and remove more, which if I had it my way I would have made a pasture out of it.

I have pines like that. I call them weeds!!!! I clear an area, and the next year, they are back, and ten feet tall. I have to mow three times a year just to keep the trees from taking over.

I was told my a Texas State Biologist that if we could go back in time, the country side would be a lot more park like, a lot more open, and easy to walk through. When people clear the land, the land grows back super thick. This isn't natural. Mother Nature will clear the land with fire, and keep it cleared with fire.

I bet that your area is similar to mine, and the natural habitat has been so messed up by clearing and abandoning the land over and over again, that most people have no idea what it's supposed to look like.
