We call it "pinheiro marítimo" or marine pine, if I translate it directly.looks like the Angel Oak tree.??
Or just drive on further, same result truck tires on the ground. Why didn't he just back the tractor off and let the rear wheels of the truck come back down?
At least he had the foresight to have the emergency flashers on.![]()
I believe we already spent about 6 pages on that subject. Why didn't he just back the tractor off and let the rear wheels of the truck come back down?
He could have also gone forward to bring the back of the truck back onto the ground. Why didn't he just back the tractor off and let the rear wheels of the truck come back down?

without some bungee cords that tractor ain't gonna stay in the box.
coulda, shoulda, didn't.He could have also gone forward to bring the back of the truck back onto the ground.
^ This. I've been in a similar situation once, and it's scary the way your mind can leap to the wrong conclusion about what's actually happening. You have moments to react and sometimes you're not sure what's going on.
Years and years ago my dad had a small excavation buisiness. In spite of all of the second guessing, I could see that tractor loading - runaway happening to many of us. I try to only load on flat ground.

.coulda, shoulda, didn't.
It's easy in hindsight.
You have moments to react and sometimes you're not sure what's going on.
Even the most talented athletes repeat and repeat moves so that when they are in the heat of the game the reaction/move is automatic.
How do you prepare for what happened there?
Maybe a few of us would have reacted better.
Hopefully most of us would have prepared better by putting jack stands under the back of the trailer and blocked the wheels. I kinda doubt it though.
I'm betting a good number of us would have been doing the walk of shame and calling a tow truck and insurance company.
Well, maybe not the know it alls, but the rest of us.

Or, as in this case, rely on what we know about basic physics. That’s one of the nice things about a site like this. We can read, pay attention, and have a good chance of learning from other people mistakes.
